You people do get the fact that just because you see her in a magazine you don't actually know her, you don't know how much time she spends with her son, and you shouldn't judge her. ARE good friends and Woody and Owen ARE good friends and Woody is also friendly with Matt, but Owen and Lance are NOT good friends and I don't believe that Owen and Matt Mc. are all that close either (especially after Matt replaced him in "Tropic Thunder"). Just because they all happen to be from Texas doesn't mean that they are all automatically best friends. Plus, Matt Mc. IS close to Kate, so why wouldn't he set Lance and Kate up if he thinks they would be happy (or just have a good time together)?

You're right when you say that it's played up just to make the story more interesting - just like they did with Owen and Kate last summer when he attempted suicide. THAT whole mess was just an impulsive act which occurred because Owen was drugged out of his mind and overreacted after having had a fight with a friend.

But the "heartbroken-by-Kate" story played out better and I'm sure that Owen (and his handlers) didn't mind it much either, as it took the focus off his illegal heavy drug use.

Lance and Owen are not friends and have never been friends. They did a movie together where Lance was on set only ONE day. A Dallas newspaper cleared up this rumor several weeks ago and I notice no other blog/newspaper/magazine has reported the truth...maybe because it's just too good a story to claim that Lance stole Owen's girl. Again, the two of them BARELY know each other.

Her main priority is not her son. I see her out and about with a new man all the time and rarely with her son. Lance and Owen are(were) friends and it's messed up she would do this. She seems sooooo desperate ever since her divorces. Owen, Dax, Lance, slow down and focus on your son and career. She went from a married mother to hobag!!!

Yes, I am so tired of these stupid women (famous and non-famous) introducing every man they date to their children. You don't do that. I am 31, and my son has NEVER met a man I dated briefly or just someone I was having a fling with. If I know I'm not looking for anything serious, they don't meet him. I've actually had guys ask when were they going to meet him and I'm like not gonna happen sweetie. When I go out, I say I'm going to hang with friends and have him at the sitter. No man is even allowed in my home while he is there. Kids are smart and when those kids get older, they will be like, "Mommy, you had a lot of boyfriends."
