No, she is just being realistic. All men have primal urges to spread their seed as far as possible. It is what has assured the continuation of the human race. And for women to deny that this exist, well they are only fooling themselves. Show me a man who won't cheat. Some may need safer circumstances such as out of town, out of state, etc. but ALL will, given the right situation.

You know, I never had an opinion of this woman one way or another. Ms. Hudson's Comments reflect the thoughts of an immature young woman. Her first Marriage at 20 years says it all. The average American is waiting until 25 years of age before marriage. Perhaps had she thought through her first irrational decision to marry so young, she might avoid future mistakes. To state such comments about men shows lack of maturity and depth regarding human nature and a man's ability to make decisions/act on impulses. Men are not as shallow and mindless as she appears to be.

While I don't necessarily agree with her believe that men can't be monogamous, I have to say that it is nice to see a woman stand up and say that marriage will not bring instant happiness. In the marriage obsessed society that we live in today, that is refreshing to hear. If you are in love, get married, and it lasts, then GREAT, but I really don't believe that marriage should be a definite goal of women. We are worth so much more than a ring on our finger. And a ring doesn't always signify all that it should.

I think that Kate Hudson is saying that men and women are inherently and organically very different. It's no new news that many men tend to view monogamy as deprivation from some natural biological imperative.
