She hid her affair with him for months (when she was still married), NOW she wants to talk about her relationship with her emotionally fragile ex-lover - because it will help to promote her movie? She left him in the middle of a serious health crisis. (I know - he "shut her out", but he WAS having a nervous breakdown.) Kate, you CERTAINLY had the right to do what was best for you and your son, but don't start talking now about how "dearly" you love Owen. If asked about him, how about "no comment" or "I choose to keep my personal life private." You certainly know how to be secretive when you want to be.
