It sounds to me as if they are just royally jealous that this shlub has landed this absolutely stunning woman.
Well, I am considerably more secure than that, and I am instead glad for this guy for his prize.

I just saw Kate in an indie film she did called INSIDE OUT. It just came out on dvd. She was really good in it. But what she did in the end totally shocked us! My mouth was open. INSIDE OUT is unique ... a slightly off beat dramatic thriller. With the ever so sexy Kate!

This is an arranged marriage people - she is gay! Now that she is headlining her own show, she will be much more visible, so the producers of the show or her PR team are making sure her sexuality doesn't come in to play before the show airs. Totally stupid, but that's the game. They want her to seen as the romantic lead by middle America. If her show hadn't been renewed, there would be no "engagement."

A month or so again, she was supposedly dating that guy from Brothers & Sisters. She hasn't been hiding this guy anywhere.

Sad, really, because who cares? She is a beautiful, talented woman, and it's a shame she has to live this lie. Even sadder, since she is doing it for a show that is going to tank big time.

Does anyone else think that she seems just a little bit too excited to suddenly become a celebrity (and at such an old age!)? She is just too gloat-y and qucik to break news about herself. A true A-lister would have held onto that little bit of insider info a bit longer - not blurt it out to the 1st magazine that interviews her. She needs to settle down, b/c in a few short months her show will tank and she will be forgotten!

I really don't want to be cynical but she's waited all this time to get married and after 3 weeks of knowing this guy she's engaged! What's up with that? All I know is either Kate felt like it was the last chance for love or something else is going on.

Then again I'm watching The Bachelor and he proposes after 5 weeks...and after ABC tells him to. Now I'm starting to get Annon 12:05's perspective.

I also want to know when the baby is due....they have been together not even 3 weeks. She was with Dave Annable at GLAAD the weekend before she was seen with this guy for the first time.
