Considering her past movie and tv roles, I don't think she has what it takes to be in a Broadway play. Those people are the best of the best. There is nothing better than Broadway.

Katie Holmes Arrives in NYC for Broadway Stint

![]() INFphoto.com Katie Holmes has arrived in New York City ahead of her Broadway debut in Arthur Miller's All My Sons. The actress was photographed around the Big Apple on Wednesday and Thursday. Previews for the show – Holmes' Broadway debut – start Sept. 18 at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre. The play also stars John Lithgow, Dianne Wiest and Patrick Wilson and will officially open on Oct. 16. See photos of Holmes' hair through the years. Holmes, 29, will be in the production for 16 weeks. She and hubby Tom Cruise plan to stay in the city during that time. "Katie's not a celebrity type," the play's producer Eric Falkenstein has said. "She's done brilliant work in films like Pieces of April and The Ice Storm." See photos of Tom Cruise's women. The actress' character, Ann, is a woman who visits the family of her former lover, a missing pilot. Ticket prices for the Saturday and Sunday matinees will go as high as $116.50, with Wednesday matinees selling for $111.50.
