if you do research, and if you're an experienced mother, you would know that many of the "expert" reasons for stopping a bottle around 1 year old are unfounded. Furthermore, you would also know that the need to suck for comfort is still strongly present up to at least age 2. It may be a comfort measure for Suri.

Also, don't forget, she's ONLY 18 months old! She's barely a toddler! She's sooo little to be worrying about getting so firm and tough! Jeez..I'm not saying give in to everything, but lighten up and show some love and understanding! The world doesn't need overindulgent parents, but it DOES need kind and compassionate ones!

The kids teeth are going to be decayed. My sister took her baby off the bottle the day after she turned a year old. She only screamed 2 days and then she was over it. Just takes patience to adjust to a few days of screaming.

Actually most doctors advise to start weaning at age 12 months-14months. And to wait until age 2 can cause early tooth decay and improper alignment.
