Kevin Federline's uncle passed away on Friday after a prolonged battle with cancer, a source confirms to Usmagazine.com.
Federline had recently visited Steve, his mother's brother, who lived in Fresno, CA.
"The whole family is very sad but at least he is out of his pain now," the source told Us.

I don't mean to be callous about the situation, but who really cares. Notice how you label the article 'Britney's ex,' that's all Kevin will be known as. Why he deserves any print time is beyond me. Basically this shouldn't be talked about, because he got his fame from Britney. If he was just a back-up dancer before he meant Britney, would you still cover this story? I think not. So basically this article has nothing to really do with Kevin, it has to deal with Britney, because without Britney in his life, he would be a nobody. I'm sorry that he lost his Uncle, but MANY people whom aren't famous don't get their Aunt's or Uncle's written about.

The problem isn't anyone being "sorry" for his loss. Of course they are, AS THEY WOULD BE FOR ANYONE. That's the point. K-Fed's uncle wasn't a notable figure to random strangers. So there is no reason for the general populice to find this factoid more noteworthy then anyone else you read about in your local paper's obituary.
So to put it bluntly, outside of a general sadness for the loss of human life, there is no reason for unrelated people to care about someone they never even heard of before today.

Ok this guy is NOT a celebrity, he was married to one so I don't see why this story is even print worthy.....just as the only time Shar Jackson is heard about is when she has something to say about Kevin as a Father to Brits kids. She is one to have anything to say about Brit as a mother, how old was Shar when she had her 1st baby, like 14, seriously....Kevin keep doing what you are doing to protect your kids I give you credit for.

This is a story about someone who is noteworthy for being related to someone who is famous for who USE TO BE married to. The only linkage to "fame" that was more tenuous and pathetic was the Kardashian family.
