Twice His Age! Kim Cattrall, 51, Still Going Strong With 28-Year-Old Beau

After three years together, 51-year-old Kim Cattrall and her 28-year-old boyfriend, Canadian chef Alan Wyse, are still going strong. The pair walked hand-in-hand during a stroll November 8 in NYC. Cattrall recently opened up about the romance to London’s The Daily Telegraph. “I’ve discovered that it's really interesting to be with a man of another generation because he has different ways of looking at the world,” she told the paper. “Plus, irrespective of his age, Alan has a lot of wisdom that comes from just being him." As she shoots the Sex and the City movie — her character, Samantha Jones, beds the much younger Smith Jared — she said isn’t worried about life imitating art. "When Alan and I first got together three years ago, I was a little embarrassed about how close to the storyline it seemed,” Cattrall said. “I was dating men closer to my own age, and I thought that Alan would just be a nice little interlude in my life. I would never personally date somebody that much younger than me. I do think that it is a little weird. I know that they say age is just a number. But something about it just doesn’t seem right to me. I always think there are ulterior motives behind relationships such as these. Whether it is midlife crisis or boy filling the void of an absent figure in his life, I always think that there is something psychological going on.

My mother is 55 and is in a relationship with a 22 year old. It's very hard for me to accept. I am 27. We have had many arguments and as much as I want to see her happy, I've seen her hurt too many times as well. He calls her everyday, and I know that he likes her, but it's hard to see a real future in it.
