Kirsten Dunst won't be getting a visit from the welcome wagon anytime soon.
The 25-year-old actress, who recently relocated to a rented $4 million home in the Islington area of London while filming the aptly titled How to Lose Friends and Alienate People, is driving her neighbors crazy with her late-night parties.
A source tells Usmagazine.com that neighbors were forced to appeal to local authorities when Dunst's "wild garden parties and thumping music" were keeping them awake. "It seems that all that goes on there in the evenings are drunken parties after she's brought tons of people from their local pub", the source explains. "It may sound cool and very rock star, but their neighborhood is mainly populated by middle-class families who don't expect this kind of racket in their area. Kirsten isn't popular there right now."
And just what is happening at these garden parties? "Shouting...banging on the walls, people being sick in the garden, loud heavy rock music that vibrates through the walls, the list goes on," says the source.
A source at Islington Council's noise patrol tells Us that three separate families have made formal complaints, however, "The problem is, there isn't much you can do until it's been a problem that's been going on for months," the source explains.
Neighbors who don't have the patience to wait for Dunst to receive the official warning letters, fines, and eventual request for a court appearance have started a petition. "I've heard that the neighbors are putting together a petition with all the other families on that street, " the council source tells Us. "They're planning to pass it on to Kirsten's house and to [a local official]. Hopefully she's a smart enough girl to know not to break the law."
When asked for an official comment on the situation, a rep for the Islington Council told Us: "We cannot confirm or deny this."
According to reports in British papers, Dunst is making all this noise without rocker boyfriend Johnny Borrell. The couple is still close, but they weren't ready to live together.
Dunst is, after all, a rough roommate!

Wow...you really got me with that one.
I honestly thought she was going to be a strong actress after the Virgin Suicides. But between the unchallenging roles and the uninteresting roles that she's taken since, she hasn't really delivered on that promise. It's still early. We'll see.
As for whether or not she's being disrespectful of her neighbors...we don't know the details. Maybe they haven't spoken to her directly. Maybe she's cut it out. Maybe they went to her and were obnoxious. We don't know.

To the person who said she hasn't done anything good since Interview with a Vampire...see the Virgin Suicides. That's her best performance. Nothing ground-breaking, but very good.

You know, she's not a bad actress, but she has alwasy seems a little "off" if ya know what I mean. From some of the outfits she wears to some of the guys she's dated. With the exception of Jake of course. I dunno, but something is not all together right with this girl. IMO.

Doesn't surprise me, she's always seemed like an annoying twit. I too would be ticked if she moved into my neighborhood and threw loud parties on a nightly basis!
