Kirstie Alley: "I Want Everybody in the Universe to Experience" Scientology

 Lester Cohen/WireImage.com Kirstie Alley wants "everybody in the universe to experience" Scientology, the actress told the religion's Source magazine after attending a Scientology summit in Florida last summer. The New York Post ran excerpts from the interview: "I'm walking out an entirely different being, and I mean entirely different... My viewpoint on the fourth dynamic and mankind and other people changed. You know, I liked animals more than people! OK, I liked certain people, but the idea of 'mankind' – it really irritated me!" "Then I realized why mankind upset me so much – it's because I wasn't taking responsibility!... Now, I have genuine affinity for mankind... I've made decisions here, big, crazy, great, brilliant decisions here about the magnitude I'm going to help this group and help this planet, and it's real... I want everybody in the universe to experience this." The Source identified Alley as a founding member of the "Super Power Expansion Project." In an undated video that surfaced online last month, Alley said, "Honest to God truth, without Scientology, I would be dead. Personally, I recommend it." Kirstie, like her friend Tom Cruise, loses credibility every time she opens her mouth about this cult religion she embraces. She needs to stick to counting calories. While she's at it, her buddy Tom could benefit from a little advice in that department. The latest pics of him aren't flattering. He's getting puffy, and not just in the head. None of them will ever be taken seriously as artists again. I will spend NOTHING to support anything they are connected to, INCLUDING Jenny Craig. My guess is she will lose her contract with them if she keeps shooting off her mouth about her bizarre religion.

Scientology is a controlled and "socially ok" cult. It is flippin' ridiculous. I have read a lot about Scientology and it and the people involved are bat sh*t crazy. When Tom Cruise was laughing about if he's ever seen a SP, he's talking about a dead alien spirit. And as for Kirstie talking about "everyone in the universe" experiencing Scientology, that just include aliens. Perhaps aliens see dead human spirits. I am a huge believer in freedom of speech, religion and so on, but come on, dead alien spirits!!!

How in the world can a person survive without medication? So if a scientologist gets a bacterial infection they won't take antibiotics, even if the infection becomes septic (enter the bloodstream)? If they are scheduled for a much-needed suregery, they would refuse the surgeon's preventive antibiotics, as well as the narcotics for severe post-operative pain? Sounds very extreme to me. Second, how can "everyone" experience Scientology when the "religion" or this set of "values" requires you to pay a lot of money? Many people out there cannot afford a decent meal.
