how can people say ANYTHING about katy perry?? she is THE best pop singer around. she's better than britney spears and xtina put together. i've seen how katy perry acts toward her fans and she isnt as bad as most people say she is. she is such a sweetheart.

Boy, does Katy Perry suck.
Her music is completely abysmal. She can't sing, she sucks live (Warped Tour anyone) and all of her songs are standard fare about sexuality. Yet she's so special to girls because she's moderately attractive and she fits in with the bisexuality chic moment that was formerly headed by Tila Tequila (though ironically, Katy Perry isn't even bisexual). Why she keeps making headlines is beyond me. You want catchy? Rihanna is catchy.

My sister said Katy Perry is a B*tch to her fan. She won't sign autograph or even acknowledge her fan.I hope you end up aka One Hit Wonder. I did like her but forget it now.

I personally think Katy's good and the fact that as far as we have gone in soceity people still have issue's with other's personal likes is down right stupid. I think everyone has their own taste in music. To those of you who b*tch about the song (lyrics or otherwise) here's a simple concept: Don't listen to it! And guess what? More people like the song than don't, otherwise she wouldn't be a guest on as many shows as she's been.
And to those of you who like it, good deal. I think it's a catchy song and honestly don't see why everyone is freaking out about its content. I agree with all of you who say if parents are bothered by their children listening to it, don't let them listen to it.

To anyone that says this song is corrupting today's youth I would say they are already corrupted. Plus you can't get pregnant kissing a girl :) If you want to talk about bad songs maybe you should focus on some of this rap music, killing cops, selling drugs, this music is glamorizing killing people....just a thought. This is a cute, catchy song, no harm done.

While I personally don't particularly care for a song about kissing a girl and liking it, I don't see why anyone is attacking her First Amendment right to make this song. We don't live in a censored communist country. She can say and sing what she wants, the same way that you haters can. I'll be glad when people will stop letting television and radio parent their kids for them. Television, radio, and the media in general can only influence a child as much as the parent allows. If you don't want your five-year-old listening to the song, try...I don't know...BEING A PARENT and MONITORING what they hear and see, which you kinda should be doing anyway. A child isn't going to hear this song unless you let them.

She is so pretty! And a GREAT singer! and the song is not a rip off! I dont see how the song is out of line..I've seen her live so yeah i think i would know if she could sing or not.

No word should be so taboo or have so much power that it incites violence. I think that is the danger with the extreme stigma around the n word. Of course, black people should never be called n words. But the word should not be played up as such an extreme insult that it can incite or justify violence.
