Lauren Conrad Calls Brody Jenner "Scum" in Hills Premiere

 Michael Buckner/Getty Images  Lauren Conrad is so over Brody Jenner in tonight's premiere of The Hills. After finding out that ex Brody Jenner wasted no time rebounding, Conrad calls him "scum" in French, which she then translates for pal Whitney Port. Conrad, according to a review in the New York Times, spends a good part of the new Hills season "pining for Brody." The paper's critic says Conrad "could learn from [Heidi Montag] right now," who "has emerged as a kind of feminist hero" for "her groundswell of self-assertion." (On Sunday, Montag and beau Spencer Pratt took his niece out for an Easter egg hunt.) Conrad talked about Jenner's betrayal in latest issue of Us Weekly, on newsstands now. She says of his rebound, "When you have that type of thing, you always have to question, 'Why wasn't I good enough?'" Meanwhile, Conrad and MTV have corrected false web and print reports about their relationship with Us. On Friday, Conrad stated, "It was never my intention to criticize Us Weekly as I have a great relationship with them." And an MTV spokesperson released the following: "I hate to disappoint, but the only drama going on is on the show. Everything is fine between MTV, Us Weekly and Lauren Conrad." Hooked on The Hills? iii hate heidi on the cover of us weekly. i used to buy every issue of us weekly and now i dont buy it bcuz of heidi. she is like on it all the time, like NOBODY WANTS TO KNOW ABOUT HEIDI, NO ONE LIKES HER!! do you get that US WEEKLY?? it has gotten so pathetic. I love the hills so much!!!!!!!! The only person I hate is the stock up jerk spencer. Lauren was right he does have heidi brain washed he is SUCH A BIIG LOSER A HUGE ONE. I Love the Hills and I am very happy that US magazine is trying to get the attention of younger readers because in the long hall they are going to be the ones who can say they started loving US when they had their favorite shows cast and thats how you have loyal readers. I think a magazine is more then who is on the cover, I think it is reaching out to your readers and understanding them and I think that US is ready and willing to move with the times and not stay behind and cater to the "other" generation.

I don't care if they have a show, MTV can put whatever they want on their lineup, and I can choose to watch something else, however, as a longtime reader of US Weekly, I am thoroughly annoyed that Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag keep making it to the cover. The articles are always the same anyhow. Heidi and Lauren hate each other. They both have boyfriend troubles. They both have friend troubles. Who cares? If anything, they should be blurbs in the magazine and the site, not full on articles and interviews. I'm not a hater because hate would imply a strong feeling on my part. I simply feel like I'm wasting my money on the magazine I used to really enjoy reading for it's variety because the stories are recycled. So, US, please stop featuring the cast of the Hills. That's what the teeny bopper magazines are for. Seriously, how many articles about these people can you read? I bet if someone were to find all of them and lay them side by side, it would be basically all the same few stories re-told in different ways. The show is fake and so is the so-called "drama" that US reports on.

I agree with the previous post. I used to be an avid Us Magazine reader. This all changed since you have put Heidi Montag and Lauren Conrad on your covers - not once but SEVERAL times. It is pathetic - especially since there are so many REAL celebrities to write about! THE GIRLS FROM THE HILLS ARE NOT CELEBRITIES, and by featuring them CONSTANTLY the magazine is no longer, in my opinion, a legitimate magazine for celeb gossip. Of those interested in celeb gossip, only a VERY SMALL majority actually care about Lauren (and Brody) or Heidi and Spencer. Most people aware of the show realize the girls are all attention seeking idiots - with nothing better to do. Us Magazine: NO ONE CARES!!! Stop featuring these idiot girls so that I can go back to enjoying your magazine.

US, please stop writing about the cast of The Hills. I don't care if anyone will respond that by reading this article or posting, I'm making it appear as though people actually care about reading this stuff, because despite opinions to the contrary, someone at the magazine is reading what we write otherwise posts wouldn't be removed. What happened to the posts after 5:03pm until 7:56pm? There were posts but now they mysteriously vanished, and it's because someone at the magazine didn't like what was being said. Well, do us all a favor and read the posts on all of these articles where a good number of readers are begging you to stop bogging down the magazine with the antics of these particular individuals. 7:07 PM- He's one of those little known rich brats from La/Beverly Hills who were able to worm their way onto reality shows (Spencer is another example, and the Kardashian girls, and even Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton). Um... ok, first off the Kardashians have a popular store in LA called Dash. unlike Brody, they make their own money. Nicole Richie has musical talent and i believe she wrote a book, Paris Hilton has a handbag line with her sister nikki and has wrote books. so these femmes have nothing on Brody. They make their own money. usually in american culture when some hardly known celebrity becomes famous, they do a show about them. i didn't know who paris and nicole were before their show, but when it comes to the kardashians, the only well-known family members are Kim and her deceased father. BUT-the world knew Ozzy Osbourne, just not his family that much. you know what i mean? America has shown some fascination with these celeb-reality shows.
