Here's what probably really happened. Someone's like Hey Lindsay cheers! She doesn't think anything of it. She wasn't really "drinking" just swigging champagne which is thought of more as celebratory than a means to get drunk. (I saw the video, she had maybe a sip). It doesn't cross her mind that she did anything wrong. Then suddenly the next day her camp is freaking out because TMZ's got this video of her. Her lawyer's like, 'Don't worry, I'll release a statement.' I HIGHLY doubt Lindsay called her sponsor. She just has to say that to the public. I've never been an alcoholic and maybe that is a huge no no, but as a regular young girl I wouldn't even think twice if I had a sip of champagne on New Year's. As long as she's not getting wasted and driving drunk I think she's okay...

But who knows she had a profile at blackcentury.com which is a niche interracial dating site? She had a hot video there. She is really sexy with bikini in that video. someone thought it is naughty. but I don't think so

She probably drinks all the time and does drugs too. She just got caught this time. I am sure she is "back on track".

Yeah right - look at the video - she takes the bottle and drinks from it - she does not look upset - she does not stop herself and she dowa not look like she is going to call anyone anytime soon - give me a break - how stupid do they think we are - she's not on any track - she is living her life the way she wants and that unfortunately is going to cost her. At the end of the day, she has no one to answer to except herself.

I saw photos of her last night on "The Insider" plastered all over some yucky looking guy. It appeared he was trying to unbutton his pants as she was laying on top of him. Looked like a drunk moment to me. Or she's just a tramp. Probably both.

Anyone that suffers from an addiction, even if sober today, is sad at this news. If I, a recovering alcoholic, were on the dance floor and went to grab a bottle of champaign, I would hope that my so-called "friends" would stop me. Where are her friends? This is why they tell people in recovery that you have to remove yourself from the people, places and things that you associate with your addiction, which in Lindsey's case, is basically your career...opening clubs, being "seen", Hollywood, etc. She has a tough road ahead of her.

Stop with the excuses. "She is back on track." Whatever, Mr. Hall. She needs to be in rehab.
