Lindsay Declares War on Media and Former Assistant

Lindsay Lohan recently fired off a semi-coherent mass email to friends via BlackBerry, declaring war on tabloids and announcing her intention to sue an ex-employee. (Naturally, her “friends” immediately clicked the “forward” button and the letter ended up in the inboxes of Page Six and Gawker, which has the entire message here.)

Inflamed by last week’s National Enquirer story that claimed she recently overdosed on drugs, Lohan writes in the email, "Let's sue the tabloids for saying the things they say. Defamation of character."

She’s even asking some high-powered pals for assistance. "Al Gore will help me he came up to me last night and said he would be very happy to have a conversation with me. If he is willing to help me, let's find out. Hilary [sic] Clinton, Bill Clinton, and Evan metroplis [sic], and John Daur who works with them would be willing, if we just ask. If we just ASK. I'd really like to fix things and refuse to stop on any account for these unintelligent, vulgar people who like to hurt other people."

The Georgia Rule actress also expressed a desire to hold a press conference and "release a politically/morally correct, fully adequite [sic] letter to the press."

She continues: "It's my life. I want to live it. People cannot lie and think that it is okay to continue on having done so. I have had many ups and downs, as do we all. But to make false accusations to one girl is unjust in my opinion. I am willing to do anything I need to get my life the way it should be."

Lohan then mentions taking a mystery person she refers to as "LR" to court for "what she's done to me.” Who is LR? That would be former assistant Lindsay Ratowsky, who fled Lohan’s employ for the muscled arms of Jessica Biel.

When Biel recently brought Ratowsky to a GQ party on November 29, Lohan screamed in front of guests, including Ben Affleck, Al Gore and Leonardo DiCaprio, “How dare you let her in here! I am suing her! This is supposed to be for the crème de la crème and you let her in when I am suing her. I am going to leave unless you kick her out!”

Sources tell Us that Lohan plans to sue Ratowski because she believes that she once spiked her drink and has been selling stories about her to the Enquirer.

When contacted by Page Six, Lohan’s rep had no comment.

Lindsay screwed her life up all by herself so what's the point defending her! I sympathize with actors who are hounded by the paparazzi and don't want the attention. HOWEVER, Lindsay has always courted the attention - you can't be asking for it one minute and then be furious at it the next. In my opinion she is living life way too fast. I don't know anyone of her age who is partying as hard as what Lindsay is (with her Mother in tow). Her Mother should be ashamed of herself - she is a mature aged lady trying to behave like a young girl in her 20's ... time to swap clubs with restaurants and act her age. Lindsay is out of control and right now she feels like an "IT" girl - as we all have seen, many childhood stars have fallen from grace and if LL doesn't clean up her act, step off her self imposed pedestal and become a little more gracious and humble, she too will take the fallen star stumble. Ok, first: That quote from the party sounds fake. Lindsay very obviously was not on the receiving end of a great education, I doubt "crème de la crème" is something she would say. Second: Certain stories just aren't worth fighting over but, to play devil's advocate here, overdose stories, if false, are worth a lawsuit. It's one thing to be labeled a cokehead (I think a decent percentage in Hollywood dabble in it) another to be labeled as someone ODing. If she is trying to get sober, or on her way there, false stories (if false) have to be frustrating. However she did create the monster of her image and it has overtaken any talent she may have. Third: What crappy friends she has.
