Luke Perry: No Plans to Join 90210 Spin-Off

Don't expect Luke Perry to join Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth on the CW's 90210 spin-off.

“I can’t re-imagine it currently,” Perry told The Billy Bush Show Thursday.

“It’s just not something that I’ve thought about to be quite honest,” Perry, who played brooding rebel Dylan McKay revealed. “I don’t see it happening.”

As for his former castmates Spelling and Garth, “I wish them a lot of luck. I hope they have a lot of success with it,” Perry said.

Spelling (who recently gave birth to daughter Stella) has gushed that she's "really excited" to reprise her role as Donna Martin.

Garth will play a guidance counselor at her alma mater, West Beverly High.

Luke if you don't come back for any other episodes.I beg you to just do a finale episode leaving with brenda please.It is the only reason I'm watching the new one in hopes that dylan will end up with brenda or I will have no peace with one of my fav shows.I hated dylan after he left brenda for kelly and this is the only way to make it better for all the viewers.Please help us have the happy ending we all want even if you only agree to one episode..PLEASE!

The only reason I watched Beverly Hills 90210 was because of Dylan and Brenda. It would so be nice to see the couple get back together in the new spinoff. Please come back for a few episodes and reunite with Brenda! It would be so awesome...Brenda and Dylan were meant to be together.

I really truly think that luke perry should return back to 90210, because he was the one who kept the show in suspence all the time and he always would leave and return and leave. This show is not going to survive without u, i mean come on the character Dylan Mcay was such a great character, he taught everyone great lessons in life, like u learn from your mistakes and u always get back on your feet again. That character taught me alot in life as well. plus it doesn't make any sense dylan is the father of kelly's baby! well i hope u reconsider coming back on the show or at least make an appeerance once an while. if not your always great! lol

YES pleaseeeeeeeee come back.... just look at how many people love you and want to see you back AT 90210. Now you know that 90210 is good but it would great with you there. I think all the original characters should return to the new show, at least have several episodes with them in it. If it wasn't for the 3 original characters appearing in the new 90210, I wouldn't have bothered to watch it.

I think eventually they will all came back... this show is in all of them, its why they are the people they are today. I think the show will be great..I am in my late thirty's and I still LOVE the show. If they all came back at once it will look to forced. I cant wait to see Kelly today and how she turned out. Plus all the others...never say never!!!(remember Luke left what 3 times?)

Luke, I know you might think its lame to reappear but there are about a million of us 20 somethings, who would love to see you at least make a cameo. I grew up watching 90210 from the time I was 10 till I was 18 when the show stopped running. Please consider it!

Personally, I don't care what anyone else thinks but, I love 90210. I have watched this show since it first came on TV. I would LOVE to see Dylan on the cast. I have meet a family friend of his and she is a awesome person. She is his moms best friend. I LOVE COY LUTHER PERRY THE 3RD. Please join the cast D.! I am excited about the spinoff!:)

Who cares about the new cast anyway? Plus they've done this this storyline before 18 years ago with a family from the Midwest moving to L.A. -- they should just give the old cast as much money as they want, and have an updated show, telling us what the old gang are up to NOW. I want a Brenda and Dylan reunion!

The only way this will work is to have ALL the original cast members then can it only be called a spin-off. To just have 1 or 2 with the only thing in common with the original is the location will never work.

I think that each of the original cast members should be a cameo at one point or another in the show. That would be nice, but to have the entire cast come back all at once would be stupid. I def think that David should especially since Donna will be on the show.

Also, I just hope that the newbies don't suck because I would like to see this show go at least one season. I'm looking forward to checking it out. Now, we all know it won't be as good as the original, but hopefully it doesn't suck. We shall see. :)

A spin-off rarely has more than one or two cast members from the original show. I think everyone is forgetting that. Think about it - how many spin-offs do you know of where everyone from the original cast was involved?? That's why it's called a spin-off, otherwise it would just be a continuation.

Does anyone really think this show is going to be good at all.? It's very sad to see actors trying so desperately to recapture the "old glory days" fo their youth. People will laugh at the ones that have signed on to this, shake their head and turn off the TV. Just like all the remakes.

Ok, correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Kelly and Dillon get MARRIED on the finale of 90210? So I guess they will say they got divorced then if Kelly is joining and not Dillon...I'm still not giving up hope, I bet you anything, he sees the dollar signs and joins sooner than you think!

He's one of the few smart actors staying away from remakes. I love me some Dylan McKay, but NO!!!!! Stay away from this!!! Brenda shouldn't come back either. This show will be cancelled before the season ends. The End.

Yes, it'd be great for Luke Perry to come back for the 90210 Spin-Off, and I'm sorry to hear that Blake Lewis was dropped from his record label, Arista Records, but it's great that he's being a good sport about it, and other things, and I don't remember commenting on this, but it'd be great if Tiffani Thiessen would come back, sorry if I didn't comment on that before, etc.?
