Please...everyone is judging this mom when you don't know the whole story behind the scenes....are you perfect in your parenting or do you listen to your parents when they talk to you about sex? I don't think she was writing a parenting book on how to i think that it was just a memiour on being a mom of famous children. give her a break. Instead of having her kids in church on Sundays and at parties and movie sets Saturday nights, maybe Lynn Spears should have taken some time to go over birth control and responsibility with her children. Something is not right in that family. Sure, plenty of people are sexually active at 16 but they use sense and use birth control. And the pill with a condom is pretty damn infallible if used correctly.

Is it a surprise that this Christian publishing company decided not to go through with the book deal? Who is this woman to give advise to anyone? Maybe if she spent more time with her children talking about the Christianity she says she believes in both of her daughters wouldn't be in the situations they are in. Just another example of the Hollywood mother living through her children. She wanted her kids to be famous, well she got it. How proud you must be Mrs. Spears! What a disgrace you are to mothers and Christians everywhere. Shame on you!

Lynne has no life of her own except through her daughters and has no business giving the rest of this country advice on how to parent our kids!Shame on her for cashing in on her childrens misery!

Yes, you can blame everything on her. Her ex-husband, from what I understand wanted nothing to do with the fame. They just recently divorced a few years ago. They have a son, who I think is older than Britney. He is more like the father and has no interest in being famous. Lynne is a horrible mother and very greedy.

HHHMMM.....a parenting book from a member of the Spears family....I think I'll PASS. I have no children and could probably write a better parenting book than her. I would have a bit more respect for her if she had just called it a sort of biography on being the mom of 2 "stars"....but a parenting book??? Wonder how the sales on that one will do.

See people...this is why we need to teach birth control in schools instead of just abstinence.
