What an attention bleep. No one gives a crap about her anymore so she figures, "hey! if Angie can get noticed for adopting kids from countries whose names she can't spell..why not me?! HA HA! LETS DO IT."
Disgusting.

Madonna's Rep: Adoption is Going “Very Well”
Monday August 6, 2007
![]() BARM/Fame Pictures Contrary to recent reports, Madonna’s adoption of one-year-old David Banda is going smoothly, the singer’s rep, Liz Rosenberg, tells Usmagazine.com. Though social worker Penstone Kilembe told Reuters that the adoption process "may crumble," Rosenberg denies the claim. “The information regarding the adoption that was reported on Reuters is simply not accurate,” says Rosenberg. “The adoption process is going along very well and according to proper procedure.” After Madonna was granted an interim adoption of the Malawian boy last October, Kilembe was ordered to monitor Banda’s progress in two trips to Madonna’s home in London and report to the High Court of Malawi. He claimed to Reuters on Monday that the Malawian government stopped the visits, compromising the adoption. "The whole adoption process may crumble and David [may be] sent back to his village,” said Kilembe. “None of that stuff is true,” Madonna's rep tells Us. Meanwhile, a source close to the singer also denies the report that Kilembe obtained a plane ticket and money from the pop icon without government approval. "Madonna is unfortunately not one of those people who gives out free airline tickets!” the source tells Usmagazine.com. “She doesn't really give out anything for free. She definitely followed all proper procedures in this case and didn't give him the plane fare or money for expenses."
