She's contradicted herself so many times, I dont believe a single syllable that comes out of her ugly, gap-toothed mouth. It wouldnt matter if the child were black or white. He's poking fun of her at her ever changing/flakey personality and the media for sensationalising just about everything. This move seems transparent, like most things she does.

What? the comment he made was all his own and that's fine but why make a comment on the child? The only reason people are commenting on the fact she adopted is because the baby is from Africa. If the baby was from Europe it would probably be no issue. NOT only that it's not any-body's business but hers!

Well, I have been a Morrissey fan for a long time, and I stand by him completley. Maybe that wasn't the best thing for him to say ( possibly), but he really does care about animals, and he isn't afraid to say what he feels ( he has never been, and why should he?)

The real lesson here for Madonna is that she needs to rein in her "people." It's easy enough for anyone in need of publicity to score a headline by slagging off Madonna. (It's become de rigeur for any aspiring female singer to either proclaim they adore or abhor the legacy of Madonna.) But when a Madonna spokesperson responds to a criticism, it just fuels the fire. I love Morrissey's music and most of his politics, but he is hardly the caliber of public figure that warrants a response from Madonna's spokesperson. Sorry, Morrissey fans--brilliant people are quite often irrelevant to the larger public. As for why so many people are merciless in their criticism of Madonna--she just stayed successful for too long. People prefer their icons to live hard and die young. This woman just goes on with multi-platinum record after record (even if American radio won't touch her, even if her movies stink--she remains globally the most successful female recording artist, ever, with no signs of slowing down). I hope the naysayers, and especially the American critics, lighten up when she is inducted into the Rock N' Roll hall of Fame next year. Anyway, if Madonna is not photographed in a fur coat for awhile, Morrissey has accomplished his mission. Maybe if he wasn't so busy shouting down other stars, he could have saved his voice so as to not cancel his tour dates and disappoint his already legendarily mopey fans.

i actually support oxfam and fair trade and am involved with a malawian orfanage myself im also involved in politics so in answer to ur kind comments i hav a life and am helping to improve many a woman who boards a private jet and makes so many media statements to court publicity on this issue is clearly using a child to enhace her image and thus as an accessory this is no fantasy of mine but pure fact sory if u cant accept it and im also afraid that her motives are clear: PUBLICITY AND PUBLICITY! if u dont care fine but dont attack Morrissey for, as always speaking his mind and the truth!
