Madonna grew close to Justin Timberlake as they collaborated on her upcoming album Hard Candy.
"I really enjoy writing with Justin," she says in the new issue of Interview magazine. "We had psychoanalytic sessions whenever we wrote songs first.
"We'd sit down and we'd start talking about situations. And then we'd start talking about issues or problems or relationships with people."
She describes the writing process as "very intimate... because he's open and he's got talent."
Though Madonna has worked with countless songwriters, she found the connection to Timberlake unique.
"I haven't worked with a lot of songwriters where I'm instantly connected and start riffing and playing with the rhythm of the words," she told Interview.
"He's as interested in the rhythm of the words as the meaning of the words," she says of Timberlake, who will induct her into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame later this month.
The Material Mom also opens up to Interview about adopting son David from the African country Malawi.
"He wouldn't have lived if I hadn't taken him," she says. "It's not even a possibility."
"I think freedom is quite illusory," she adds. "When I stop thinking about myself all the time and put other people before me on a regular basis, that's real freedom.
"When I can love unconditionally... then that's real freedom."

I'm looking forward to Madonna's new album. And she's going to have Justin Timberlake and my man Timbaland produce some songs with her on it?This is going to be one funky album! I can just imagine Madonna singing over Timbaland's mesmerizing beats and rhythms and Justin's rhythms too! William Orbit,Mirawais and those other cats were cool on her last few efforts, butI'm all for Madonna with Tim and Justin on this new one!

She is a machine. It should be an interesting album with two ginormous talented heads put together like that. On another note, it is a contradiction for her to talk about being the boy's savior, and then say how she stops thinking about herself and puts other people first. Come on, what is that? Madonna, there is nothing wrong with your tremendous ego, so stop with the faux altruism talk. No one's buying it, and it is your love of self that propelled you to show the world your talent, and that got you where you are today. Flash that ego, honey, because it's sincere and we can't help but love it. It really works for Justin.

Ricky Martin seems to have been joined at the hip to Jose Vega since childhood. From video's on youtube (Menudo practice 2) to them walking in New York, jose and Ricky are always "together".
I've seen Ricky with girlfriends, but he and also single Vega seem like lovers.
In a spanish 13 part special on Youtube you can even see Vega straightening Ricky's suit and doing up the buttons.

I love JT, he is one of the most talented artist out there! He blows my mind with every single thing he puts out. He is SO amazing. I am very glad (and I bet he is too) that he broke with N'Sync. They were holding him back.

Madonna is an icon, and she's been around for a long time, it's great that she & JT worked together, and that JT will induct into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame sometime in March? I'm glad Madonna enjoyed working with JT!

I love her! I am so excited to hear the new album. She is an ICON inevery sense of the word! I look at the people girs have to look up to today and it scares me. I am so glad I had Madonna. I have been a huge fan from day one!
