Jennifer Lopez’s rep is strongly denying a story by British-import OK! magazine declaring that the singer has "called it quits” with her husband of nearly three years, Marc Anthony.

Lopez’s rep Leslie Sloane tells Usmagazine.com that the report is "a disgusting story full of lies. We're consulting lawyers."

In the article, the mag brands Anthony as a "controlling" man who spends his time "suffocating” his 37-year-old superstar wife.

"Marc is very machismo," the mag quotes a source as saying. "Marc won't let her even do a photo shoot by herself. He is always there watching, waiting."

The article claims that, at a Golden Globes party, "Marc [dragged] Jennifer away after spotting her dancing with another man...He has also insisted that Jennifer sell her beloved Miami home and the Los Angeles house where they wed."

Despite the magazine's insistence that the couple has split, Anthony, 38, was by Lopez’s side at a record-signing in the Bronx last week.

According to the New York Daily News’ Rush & Molloy, they were also together yesterday in L.A. as Lopez rehearsed for tonight’s episode of American Idol, on which she is scheduled to sing "Que Hiciste."

A friend of the couple tells the Daily News that "they're inseparable. I don't get a whiff of trouble."

Are you perfect?? Have you ever done anything that might have been considered wrong in somebody else's eyes?? I bet you have!! Like Jesus said, if you are free of sin throw the first rock. Don't talk smack on other people because you are not perfect. Check yourself. Be a mature honest person and stop hating because you are not so lucky to have such good looks like her!!!! That's what it all comes down to. Envida, haters, unhappy people that have to talk bad about other people you know nothing about!!

Feel sorry for people like you. Stop calling Marc a bag of bones. You think you are perfect or look good. Im sure you have your flaws!!!!! Haters stop hating and concentrate in something more positive. You will feel better about yourself!!!!

I just think that everyone that has to critize them are just lonely and jealous that you can't have a woman that looks that good or that is that talented and that you wish you had the money that they had. It's hard enough having marital problems ( if true ) , let alone having it public . I think we should all respect their privacy and wish them the best . It's normal to have marital problems and many people just need some time to work them out . I think they're a great couple and my advice to JLo would be to work things out . It must be possible .

It's soo dangerous because a lot of Mexican people have died trying to cross the river. It's not a joke. They put themselves in that situation because they can not find work and their families are dirt poor. I've traveled to Mexico several times and it breaks my heart to see woman, children, old people, and little babies on the side of the highway moving their hands up and down for food. Call them wetbacks, but don't expect to not suffer the consequences.
