Mariah Carey will replace Janet Jackson as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live this weekend, Usmagazine.com has confirmed.
It will be Carey's first SNL appearance in more than 10 years.
Carey’s 11th studio album, E=MC², is due out April 15. She recently released the first single, "Touch My Body."
Superbad’s Jonah Hill will host.
Jackson was set to perform but canceled after she was hospitalized for the flu, which Usmagazine.com exclusively reported.

I think she has an amazing voice but has not been the same since her "breakdown" I also think she looked a hell of a lot better with some meat on her bones! I used to look up to her back when she sang Vision of love and all that I still listen to that cd! I was actually shocked when I saw how thin she is though, that is such a disapointment.

Mariah is my all-time favorite. She makes "diva" a good word. Say what you will about her, there is no denying that she is divinely talented.
And, no, "Glitter" was not bad. I think people trashed it because they couldn't stand the idea of someone already blessed with such looks and gifts to have acting talent as well.
What's more, Mimz is looking good these days. You can tell she's been working out a lot, but still keeping her womanly curves. And STAYS OUT OF THE TABLOIDS. Smart lady.

I looooooooooooooooove, love, love, LOVE Mariah! I have since I was a little girl. And except for "Glitter" (which actually wasn't as bad as everyone said) she has been on TOP, poping out hits, making people dance and sing! She rocks. This SNL is going to be a good one!
