You have probably never had children and don't know what the body has to go through to accomidate a child. I don't care what kind of women you are (race, age, hight, weight before birth) You will gain weight and you will have the "baby fat" after your loving merrical is born. As a mom you don't care about your own weight durring pergancy or after. You are so focused on having a healthy baby and child you're priorities change. I am a mother of two before my first my wieght was 145lbs average for a 5'5" woman I had my boys and now my wieght is 196lbs I am not obease but chunky. My husband doesn't mind all we care about is that our boys are now healthy. So saying that "Baby or not there is NO EXCUSE for ANY girl to be fat." You have no idea what you're talking about. I don't know if you are a man or woman but one day you'll have a child of you're own and wieght will not be the first thing on your mind.

I rarely if ever post on blog things, I think they're a waste of intelligence and again most posters here have yet to disappoint. Absolute ignorance. Mazal Tov to Marissa and her husband. In New York she was very famous for her Hairspray role, waaaay before DWTS.

I wish Marissa and her husband the best of luck with their new son. I dont understand mean spirited people, regardless of how famous she is or not she always appeared to be a very nice person on TV. I could care less what she stared in I found her to be a very lively and happy person and I hope this carries on in her life as a mom and wife. Good luck on your new baby.
