Woops, I meant 2 minutes apart instead of 2 hours in my last message. Darn sleep deprivation!! LOL

I don't believe she was in labor for 60 hours and 2 mins apart, bullsh*t. Now, I can see her being in labor having the occasional contractions for days before the actual hard labor. My labor only lasted 13.5 hours from the first contraction.
Now a days you cannot go any longer then 20 hours, if beyond that would be a C-section.

I can't believe a doc would let someone sit like that for so long without breaking the water. I mean if her water hasn't broken after maybe what, at least 5 hours after admitting, they would come in and break it.
There is no way in hell she can get around so quickly right after a C. You don't get around super fast even right after a natural birth. *rolling my eyes*

She did have an emergency c section...and she looks like she was never pregnant..i am surprised she is out and about doing things..My doctor told me to take it easy while i healed from my c section..the baby will not get sick because she is breastfeeding..

I think he is trying to make her sound like she is super woman..lol...if there were complications the doctor would have found out earlier that the umbilical cord was around the baby's neck..and they were risking her life and the baby's by giving the epidural to late..Matthew must have been smoking weed..He was too stoned to remember anything..your reactions are slower...

60hrs of labor -----this woman shuld b in the Guiness book of records....by the way who was her doctor......was it mathew himself or some real medical doctor.....hope not a vet..
there are so many women in this world who deliver without hospital care.forget epidurals...but they still deliver...and go unnoticed......none of them hit the headlines......so whts the big deal about this delivery........

How come celebrities act like they are the only women in the world to give birth? Babies are born everyday and don't make front page headlines.

No doctor would allow a woman to be in labor for 60 hours. AND once "your" water breaks, you need to have the baby within 24 hours of that so that an infection does not set in. Without the mucus plug and water, it is easy access for infection. Too many women like to stretch the truth when it comes to how long they were in labor. TRUE labor begins when the cervix begins to dilate and contractions become regular (5-8 minutes apart). Most women are in labor for 5-15 hours.

I don't understand why people get so excited about how long someone was in labor or how they had a baby. (natural/c-section etc) People have been giving birth since the beginning of time..it's nothing new. We ALL got here the same way. Even cows give birth. Big deal. Just another screaming kid to overpopulate the earth.

i agree, the competition over childbirth is ridiculous. i have four kids, two natural births, two epidurals. guess what- i still got to take home a baby each time! whether i felt the pain or not! childbirth is a beautiful experience, no matter how you choose to go about it. by the way, i do have to say its a little irritating how he says "we" we were in labor for 60hrs. no buddy, SHE was. you just had to watch. push a baby out of your body and then we'll talk!

usually a doctor won't let a woman go through labor that long. Too tiring for her and the baby. If she did Kudos to her.

How friggin stupid did that statement make her?! What, was she having Braxton Hicks all week and counted that as labor too? What a joke. No one believes her, and if they do, they are just as stupid as she is. People these days obviously need to take the route to college instead of trying to hook up with celebs.

You can stay in labor for a long time, doctors will let you, but only for 24 hours if your water broke because anytime after that you can have a dry birth. But if your water has not broke and you are not dilating fast enough you can go longer.
