I am disgusted at the way "mothers" behave on here. Do you teach your children to judge and stereotype people based on social class and family arrangements? Obviously you do as children learn by example and the example you have set for me is very negative and ignorant. Marriage doesn't make you a better parent. There are plenty of single parents who love their children and teach them values and morals, one of which is to not judge others.

My parents were married before having me, my older sister is married with children and I am engaged.
We have all chosen to marry before children, does that make us any better than the single mothers and fathers out there? ABSOUTELY NOT!

to everyone...when did it become okay to judge someone based on their marital status, and whether they are parents or not? can't we just let these celebrities live their lives as we are allowed to live ours, IN PEACE...be happy they have a healthy child and leave it at that....if they decide to get married, great...if everyone got married just because they were pregnant, how many divorces, besides what we have already, would be happening....some people aren't meant to spend forever together, why put the child through that too?

Marriage does not equal better people or better parents. Some of you are so moralistic and biased, think you are so much better than others, believe you alone have the right to dictate others lives for them. Some of you sound totally insecure in your "marriage" that you feel compelled to defend them. Why? No one has the right to determine what others may or may not do if those people choose a path that is not your own and causes no harm. And since marraige is so important to some then of course you support same sex marraige, yes? I mean marriage is marriage, is that not so?

AlexR is married to Cynthia. They have a 3 year older and a 3 MONTH older. Look at the horrible situation those kids are now in.

BUT-JohnnyDepp has been with his partner Vanessa for 8+ years, they have 2 kids, they have a successful relationship and are goood parents. Their kids are not in a horrible situation.

GoldieH/Kirk Russell, SusanS/Tom Robbins, Jessica Lange/Sam Shepard, all together for 20+ years unmarried, all have children, all good people and good parents.

What matters MOST is the state of the loving relationship between 2 people, their committment to each other and their family, their respect for each other, their honesty with each other, their willingness to assume responsibility, their ability to compromise with each other, their determination to be good parents together, THIS IS WHAT IS IMPORTANT.
