Matilda looks so much like her daddy! I hope the best for Michelle,Matilda, and Heath's family. I dont think Matilda knows that her daddy isnt alive anymore.i read a magazine that Michelle told Matilda that daddy went away. She is a good mother.

So sad to see such a happy little girl smiling when she doesn't know to be sad because she will never see her daddy again. She's innocent and beautiful and needs to stay that way as long as possible.

My sincerest condolences to Michelle, Matilda (God Bless You sweetie), and Heath's family. I hope she gets to know her paternal grandparents so she can learn all about her daddy and know what a handsome, talented, good man he was. He WILL be forever missed!!!

I feel bad for his child and ex gf. I can't imagine what it would be like growing up without a father but Ledger proved his selfishness by doing cocaine, heroine & pills.

Heath Ledger was a super actor in every movie he acted in.What a loss not only for his poor family but for the movie world.God bless his loved ones at this saddened time.

I am genuinely saddened by this tragic event that has taken place. Little Matilda is too young to truly understand the events that are now unfolding in her short life. I think that eventually Michelle and Heath would have reconciled. The two women in and out of that room the day he died...needs to have charges filed against the both of them...anyone with any sense would have immediately called 911...they could have called Mary-Kate after 911 called. They should have at least attempted CPR / the 911 operator would have directed them with phone instructions. They could have called apt. mgr. before Mary Kate. The "common sense" thing to do would to have made a 911 call 1st and foremost. Time was critical. I believe they are lying about the time line as well.

I may be one of the few people in the world who has never seen Brokeback Mountain. Not because it was about gay cowboys...but because it was about cowboys. I just don't 'get into' western type movies. It has been on my movie list since it came out, but keeps getting pushed to the bottom in favor of other movies. I have, however, seen everything else he was in. He was a fantastic actor who always brought something different to a part in his portrayal.

I have been a fan of Heath Ledger since I saw him in The Patriot. He was a fresh new actor with a lot of talent. I always thought as he matured he would become another Johnny Depp because he was not just happy to work, he wanted to act, and there is a big difference. It is obvious from what we have read over the last few days that he gave more of himself to a part than we ever knew.

I am the person who posted on the previous page about being disgusted with the remarks on here. And I stand by everything I said in that post.

If people want to show sympathy for family and friends let them. If they feel like they knew Heath Ledger, then that is fantastic, because Heath reached out and touched you with his acting. If people don't like him, want to make stupid remarks, or complain about what people post in memorial here, then those are the people who need to go elsewhere, they have no business posting.

Give it a rest people, keep the remarks genuine, stop squabbling, if you can't say something decent then please keep it to yourself.

This picture makes me sad. That poor little girl has no idea what is going on and what it means. She is too young to understand all of this and my heart goes out to her and her mother who has to endure the pain of explaining to her little girl why daddy has gone away every time she asks for him.

Look at this precious little girl, all smiles. She has no clue what is going on. Heath was one of my favorite actors and I am so sad that he is gone.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Michelle, her baby girl, Matilda, and Heath's family.

One thing I would ask of this sight is to please respect the dead and not to speculate on how he died or what was found at the scene. He was such a good man.
