Good grief people..stop blaming the parents. This so called "child" has been in the lime light for years. She knows the ropes and she knew exactly what she was doing. She has not led a sheltered life. Teens her age and younger KNOW lots of things..mainly right from wrong. She should have said "no thanks" I don't want to appear in your magazine like that and refused to do it. No one twisted her arm to take her top off and put a sheet on. She evidently liked it or would not have done it.

I think the photograph was beautiful. I didn't look at it as Miley Cyrus but as a young lady with fair skin and messy hair with a sheet...a lot of classical paintings portray women in that way. I think because of the overly sexualized culture, we immediately put malice into everything! If parents are so worried that their children's "idol" is "turning bad" or has made a mistake, isn't it THEIR RESPONSIBILITY AS (responsible)PARENTS to EDUCATE and offer GUIDANCE to their young children about the Do's and Don'ts and what's right and what's wrong?

I'm a big fan of Miley because of her songs, and the whole thing didn't change my view of her. YOung people make mistakes. But the good thing about being young is, we make mistakes, we learn from them and we move on for the better.

Who are you to say she hasn't learned her lesson? How would you know that? This is just an issue because of her fame and her fanbase. We cannot deny that more serious things happen to YOUNGER GIRLS around the country.

Yes, you can argue that girls are more topless at the beach and that the photo isnt a nude photo of her. But still, if you look at the pic, she is in a bed sheet, her hair looks messy, she has a bit of smudged red lipstick. It looks like she just had sex.
