You don't make a "mistake" like this one. I don't care if you're 32 or 12. If she "regrets" doing something deemed "scandalous", she should have never done it. She's a typical 15 year old girl; she wants to be called sexy and I know in private, she's secretly basking in the stir she's caused. WAY TO GO MILEY. As if being the richest kid in the world isn't enough. And the thing is, if she really "didn't know" how people would view these photos, she never should have done them. As a role model to kids all over the world, she needs to buck up and take some responsibility. You make a mistake and then you admit it, and THEN apologize. I've been a fan of Billy Ray since the beginning, anyone else that has also remembers the controversy over everything he done, said, drank (water, it turned out to be), his musice, dancing, etc. Miley keep up the good work I loved the picture of you & your Dad. Did anyone bother to read the story that she had clothes on underneath?? She was not nude! I love them both & wish them the very best in all their future plans.

Oh my GOD! People are so insensitive. Here's a 15 yr.old who has a killer job, a good family, and is liked by millions of kids as well as some adults. I guess people would be happier if she was photographed while buying crack or selling her body or overdosed and died and then the morgue photos got out! People seem to have this certain view of celebs, like they're guaranteed a free ride into Heaven and should be flogged for doing something positive and family oriented. The way I figure it, the only way the pictures are "perverse" is if they are viewed by a perverse mind. Get over it peeps. The world aint perfect....and neither are people! Kudos to M. Cyrus! This people is not a mistake! Try looking at all our others problems and scandals in this world! I see nothing at all wrong with her photos. If I were a member of her family I would be extremely proud of her and realize that she is a very talented young lady. What is the mistake is all those perverts out there trying to make something out of nothing. I mean really, her parents were there with her on the photo shoot and she is showing nothing but herself and nothing provacative. If you see something that is wrong then you are very sadly mistaken! You know what really gets me is how two faced people can be. When you walk into a High School, you see kids who dress appropriate enough to slip through dress code. Yet, when they are swimming in the School Gym Pool aren't they wearing a whole lot less? After school kids wear a whole lot less, Millions are on Myspace, and parents are to blame. Hardly anyone tries to instill good morals, and the ones that do, are called boring and they are ridicules. Whatever Miley does is a product of bad parenting, but what Business do 3-12 year olds have watching Hannah Montana? Just like Video Games have a rating system so do TV shows. Is it right for a 5 year old to wear a mini skirt and a small top with makeup? Depending how you answer that, shows what sorta way your kid will turn out.

Her family is to BLAME! What kind of parents allow her to pose like that? I don't know, maybe they're liberal, but it's not appropriate for a 15 yr old. Her parents should have known better, and she should have refused to pose like that. She's portraying the wrong image for a Disney star.

There's a NEW set of "mistake" photos of Miley -- they supposedly once belonged to one of the Jonas brothers. She's not as wholesome as she'd like people to believe. Such a shame... I'm just plain tired of all of these so-called teen role models. We have to stop having Hollywood dictate to us our standards.

Really, the only perverted people here are the ones saying that her pictures are slutty, inappropriate, etc. It only shows how close-minded people are to art. It also says something about certain individuals' parenting. I mean, if you can't teach your children to accept certain evils of the world that you'll have to teach them to handle eventually anyway, either keep them shut out of the outer world for the rest of their lives, or you could teach them to accept such things in the proper way.

Like, imagine if you showed a picture like that to your children, going "Look at this! This is BAD, this is SLUTTY, you should NEVER do this", chances are, they WILL do it PRECISELY because you said not to OR they will also grow up to be close-minded individuals who scream foul at every little thing they take personal offense to. As compared to something like showing them the picture saying something like "Look at this picture, look at all the pretty shapes and colors of this picture." I'm not saying that this is precisely what you should say, but what I mean is that if we're talking about concern for the kids, we might as well teach them about the more positive aspects of the world.
