God, I am so sick of hearing about stupid Miley Cyrus. She didn't look so embarrassed when she took the photos. Funny how she only appologized after fans started to talk. She knew exactly what she was doing. Judging by her green bra picture and others on the internet it is obvious she isn't as innocent as she would like people to believe. Having been raised in a sho-biz inviroment all her life it is hard to believe she does not have an understanding of how these things work. The phony innocence just does not work for me. She tries to look sexy in most of the pictures she takes. And honestly, I do not see what all the hype is about. She can't act to save her life. The Hannah Montana show is horrible. My girls can't stand it. She does not come off believable as an actress. And I'm sorry, her singing isn't anything to write home about either. Also, who would want to read memoirs from a 15 year old. She hasn't lived long enough to write memoirs that I would want to read. I've seen her on a couple of talk shows and she acts like a twit and seems very immature to me. She seems to think she is something else. Someone needs to clue her in that she's not all that before her head gets too big to fit through the door. Milely Cyrus sucks.

ok i saw the video with her and her dad taking the shoot...it looked very odd how he acted towards her... i understand kissing on the head but how he did it seemed like very passionate like a couple would doo... that really struck me as odd. i love miley and i think she is great but the last thing we need is more celebs going downhill.... people thought she would be different..

Well if it was suppposed to be artistic then why be embaressed but I do mean that because why is she differant from other humans she should have the exact amount of privacy as any one else should have! I know ya'll may be ashamed of her but I am also shocked on how you treat other celebs in this world... they live on this creativly made planet and why is she treated differantly!!!

Of course she should be embarrassed. I mean the photo could be "artistic" in a way , but not for a 15 year old girl!! she's a role model for young girls and I cant belivie her parents agree on that.

Ok seriously people. It's not that big of a problem. I'm 15 and say it's no big deal. I mean hey, if i could take these kind of pictures, i would! Miley was just showing her back. They were artist pictures, not any slutty ones. You see more skin in a bathingsuit! I mean seriously! This is Miley's decision to take these pictures. Why is it even a big deal to begin with? Yes she's 15. I'm 15 and think they aren't bad pictures, and so does my family. I honestly feel bad for Miley. She's getting hit with all these rumors. That's she lesbian because of the pictures she took with her friend! Every girl does that as a teenager! I do that with my friends, does that mean i'm lesbian now? She's a teenager people. Get over it and let her be one! And so what if theres a pic of her laying on her GUY FRIEND. There just posing for a pic. NO BIG DEAL. I mean honestly theres nothing to overreact about. I don't have a problem with Miley, but i'm not really a big fan of her. But i still think that this is wrong. The only reason she's getting picked on with all these rumors is because she's a role model and people are TRYING TO TURN HER INTO BRITNEY SPEARS! SHE'S NOT HER! Unless she choses to be. Just let her be a teenager. That's all I have to say about this.

From what ive seen, i dont see a problem. She is completely covered up, the ONLY thing showing is her back. and yes MOST 15 year old's have shown there back, if not some, all. its not a big deal at all, every one of you are very hypocritical or way to strict(if your a parent). She isnt nude. && theres NO way its worse than jamie or hudgens, its nothing to even be concerned about. get back to YOUR lives,if its nothing good then why even be concerned about it? has nothing to do with you. especially things as little as these.

Frankly, I think she's an immature, self-absorbed coward. Why? Her refusal to take the blame for her actions here. Claiming that Vanity Fair and Annie L. "manipulated" her and behaved in a sinister, exploitative manner? Please! She knew how she was posing, she knew what she was wearing (or not wearing) and how the shot was set-up when she did it. Her father and assorted entourage on the day knew perfectly well what the shot was going to look like, as well. She's trying to act like a victim - and it's just pathetic.

Miley Cyrus is a horrible role-model for young girls. She's arguably even worse than Vanessa Hudgens and Jamie Lynn Spears, because at least those two didn't try to blame anyone else for their own choices and actions. The only example Miley is setting is that it's okay to act like a tart and refuse to accept responsibility for your mistakes.

its all about the parents and morals, shes just a kid for crying out loud. Obviously her father and mother are willing to compromise the christian values they supposedly embrace for fame and fortune. She is another Brittany or Lindsey in the making, very very sad.

Yes, I am one and the same. Also for the record, I do not have any children myself. From what I have seen and heard as so far as comments, it appears that most of the parents who are "shocked and outraged" have failed to look at thier own children and thier presentation of themselves. I made a preumption, and in effect, I was wrong, so for that I apologize to you, however, my opinion still stands.

I do not find anything wrong with any of Miley's photos with or w/o her father. Miley is only a role model because she has been put upon a pedastal. Again, she is 15 and exploring herself. The only difference between her and someone else's 15 year old daughter is Miley is in the media.

This is not the Victorian age where you needed to be covered from head to toe. She showed her back? Really I don't see the big deal. She is sitting on a stool, not lying on a bed, and her makeup is more natural, not made up to look like a hooker. I think the photographs are tasteful and classy.

I also think it wrong for anyone to call her a slut or "predict" she will become more like Britney or Lindsay. The difference is, Brit and Linds had dysfunctional families. The Cyrus's seem like a top notch family and very close. Perhaps others are jealous because in today's age, kids can't hardly stand to be around thier parents?

I just hope one day she will realize that these photos, are the leat of her worries and that there really wasn't anything wrong with them. I am also angry that the publicists aren't backing her and making Vanity Fair out to be a monster chasing after young kids.

I don't have children, so let's clear that up right now. I was speaking hypothetically in my previous post. And incidentally, who are you to presume that I would ever let a child aged 10 wear makeup and midriff bearing clothes? If you are 2:50, I did not make any inferences about who you are so I'm not sure why you felt the need to do that to me. And I agree with you that this is not a brand new problem and there are parents out there who let their pre-teens wear midriff bearing clothes. Guess what? THAT'S INAPPROPRIATE. What people do with their own children is their business, but I can express an opinion much the same as you. You get over it.

She is only 15, but she is more covered up than some pre teens I have seen walking around. The reality is, doesn't matter what age you are, sex is the subject. I have seen girls at age 10 maybe(?) wearing loads of makeup, bared bellies, short skirts and thier parents are the same ones (perhaps you?) lashing out at Miley for , OH MY GOD, exposing her , dare I say it? her back. Again, get over it.

What so many people seem to be missing here is that this is another young girl that is starting down the Hollywood trail of "my value is in my sexuality." Has nothing been learned by watching Britney fall apart before our eyes. We take these young girls and sexualize them and then a few years later condemn them for being so screwed up. 15 year old girls are GIRLS. Parents, family, teachers, friends, guardians, managers, photographers, editors, - all adults - need to protect them. Sexuality does not define them. How many more young girls need to be destroyed before we all get it?

First of all she is NOT topless. Being topless would mean having nothing covering her up. She is COMPLETELY covered. Also, if you go to Vanity Fair and look at the pictures she is also wearing LONG BLACK PANTS, but because of the magic of digital photography you wouldn't know it. I swear all of you holier than thou hypocrites need to get a life.

She is so stupid. She'll probably be in Playboy by the time she's 18.
