Now you libs should realize that by criticizing the term "illegitimate" you're being ethnocentric. People with morals were raised in another region in another time (read: another culture) that accepted the use of the term “illegitimate ”, and you should not impose your post-modern cultural values on us. Just because she's not saying who the father is doesn't mean the kid is illegitimate, leave God out of it, I doubt God was there when the baby was conceived.

How do you know that the father won't be involved in the baby's life? Maybe he just doesn't want to live that life publicly and have the paparazzi follow him everywhere and for his privacy to be completely invaded. If he's not an actor or a celebrity, then he may just want to stay private as long as possible. As for being married, I don't think that's relevant. And really, I grew up with a very close friend whose father died when she was little in a car accident and her mother raised her and her brothers by herself. She didn't remarry until they were all grown and she met a nice man at her job. They all turned out great, better than some kids who had both parents.

Children need FATHERS!!! anyone that denies that is crazy. THat is the way its supposed to be!

and what do you mean they dont mention condoms in public schools, what year are you living in exactly? I graduated in 1991 and sex ed was a required course for heavens sakes.

I grew up in a home with only a mom, and I do believe that I turned out just fine...That is not the issue, If you bring a child in this world and dont allow this child a father I feel this is selfish! People need to start thinking about the child!!!! ITs children that are important! Not Oh everyone is doing it, and I really want a baby.....this kind of attitude is why we have so many children in foster homes and abused.

Celebrities are glamorising this, and you should all be afraid! Let me guess you think a stars life is their own personal business right...Well your wrong! They know what they are getting into for heavens sakes, they know they become roll models, and yet they dont care.
They make millions of dollars off of americans, even though you dont agree with their lifestyles, which is basically telling them that you do!!!

what is the matter with you!? Are you serious? It's so common nowadays to have a baby w/out a partner, what's the big deal? i was raised in a single parent home. not because my mom chose so, but b/c my biological father did. They were married and he left her when i was 3, ran off with another woman.... there is nothing wrong with raising a child as a single parent.

Not to mention she hasn't said anything about the father, so they very well could be engaged for all we know.
