Mischa's Mystery Car Crash!

After dropping off pal Nicole Richie at an L.A. tanning salon on Sunday afternoon, former O.C. star Mischa Barton got into a fender bender in Richie's Mercedes SUV.

Clearly annoyed and a little shaken, Barton, 21, then pulled into a gas station, exchanged insurance info with the couple she bumped into and refilled Richie's tank, according to a source.

But this is not any other celebrity-crashes-car story.

Coincidentially, Mischa and Nicole's very, um, happy BFF, Carlos Lopez, just happened to be at the same gas station when Barton arrived, ready to lend a hero's hand. That Lopez sure does have a knack for paparazzi performance!

We ask: How did Lopez know when and where to find the damsel in distress? Can he just sense when skinny girls are in trouble? Is Mr. Lopez young Hollywood's answer to Mr. Incredible?

This is so far from the truth! I was right on the corner when this photo was taken of Mischa. What really happened was that a couple of cars filled with paparazzi cornered Mischa at the light so she couldnt get out and started snapping photos of her since she was unable to move the blocked car. That is why she is looks like that out of the window because she was yelling at the paparazzi guy who broke hard in front of her to move the car. Poor Mishca!
