Three years after Sex and the City went off the air, fans aren’t the only ones clamoring for the big-screen version of the hit HBO series: Former cast members tell Us Weekly they can’t wait to get back on set.
“I’m hoping that we’ll be hitting the street soon in our high heels!” Kim Cattrall tells Us.
Seconds comedian Mario Cantone, “I hope it all goes smoothly and it gets done, because I want to do it very badly.”
“I think it’s going to happen,” Cynthia Nixon tells Us of plans for a
film.
But details on the flick (which sources say is still only “in development” three years after news first surfaced) are closely guarded.
For his part, Jason Lewis tells Us he is trying to be patient: “We’ll just have to wait and see.”
What did HBO and Sarah Jessica Parker tells Us about the movie? Is it almost time to start pouring the Cosmos?
Find out in the new Us Weekly, on newsstands later this week.
