UPDATE: Actor Morgan Freeman Leaves Hospital

 Soul Brother/FilmMagic Morgan Freeman was discharged from a Tennessee hospital Thursday following surgery from a weekend car crash, the Associated Press reports. "I left the hospital today just after 12 noon, Memphis time," he tells Entertainment Tonight exclusively. "I'm doing very well. I feel real good. I just really, I thank the staff at Elvis Presley [medical facility] and many, many thanks to my many well-wishers. It's great to know people care about you." Freeman, 71 — who suffered a broken arm, broken elbow and shoulder damage after his car flipped over on a Mississippi highway on Sunday — underwent surgery on Monday. On Tuesday, his rep said he was "doing well," even chatting with family members who visited him. The Dark Knight star exits the hospital a day after his business partner announced that the actor and his wife of 24 years, costumer Myrna Colley-Lee, "are involved in a divorce action." Hi all i am so glad that Morgan Freeman is out of hospital, i never heard if he was discharged,I am glad that he is ok and well, I pray that the family will continue to support Morgan's well being and spiritual health and his health will continue to get better, I am also sorry about the divorce, I am a great big fan of yours and i hope all is well with you.

Was pleased to hear that Morgan has been released from hospital and hope he fully recovers soon. I feel to that the divorce is personal but why do celebrities have such a hard time with marriages. I can't believe they are throwing 24 years away. Life is a challange. Hope to see Myrna again in the BVI

I'm glad to hear Morgan is doing better, He is a great talent and I truly admire him. I was so scared when they first said he had been involved in a serious car wreck on the news. I was thankful his injuries were not life threatening. Also, while divorce is always hard, I admire the fact that they have dealt with their seperation of over a year without making a public circus out of it. I wish them both the best. As for the comments made by 2:05PM Day, all I can say is anyone who can say something so evil had better watch out because Karma is a b*tch and all your bad wishes can only come back to you threefold!!!
