· Jerry Seinfeld’s wife Jessica sent Oprah Winfrey a $18,000 thank you note worth for having her appear on the show to talk about her new cookbook. She sent the shoe-loving talk show host 21 pairs of shoes, mostly Christian Louboutin’s which retail for $800-$1200 a pair.
· Jimmy Kimmel will be flying to NYC every day this week to guest-host Live With Regis and Kelly, and then head back to L.A. to film his own late-night show. Says Kimmel, “The only reason I'm doing it is to try to get Kelly to make out with me."
· Hilary Swank has signed on to star in another Oscar vehicle: a biopic about Amelia Earhart.
· The attorney who represented Anna Nicole Smith's daughter Dannielynn in the dispute over the starlet's remains is seeking nearly $200,000 for his work.
· Ellen DeGeneres is in the doghouse with a pet rescue agency after giving her new pooch away to her hairdresser because it didn't get along with her cats.

I seriously doubt that was the most expensive gift Ophrah has had. Or given for that matter. We are talking hundreds of millions and more that these people have, shoes are a nice thank you. I'm sad that people forget we live in America and can make as much $$ as we d@mn well please. Also Oprah gave $40million to her school at least! Seinfeld makes huge contributions to childrens charities. Quite a bunch of humanitarians here. Doubtful, more like critics. Everybody is a critic.

Who wouldn't be over the moon to receive 21 pairs of shoes? Especially from a friend (and I'm sure Jessica is aware of how much Oprah loves shoes) and I'm willing to bet that Jessica and Jerry Seinfeld have donated a ton of money to Oprah's charities already and this was just one fun gift for her to receive. Oprah does so much for humanity it's cool that she got to have some fun. And everyone knows she donates every outfit she wears on the show to charity, right? Oprah rocks!!!
