She said yes... to Ed Swiderski!
On the July 27 finale of ABC's The Bachelorette, Jillian Harris, 29, accepted a marriage proposal from Chicago tech consultant Swiderski, 29.

"You're everything I could ever ask for in a woman...you make me smile when I look in your eyes," he told Harris.

"I've been waiting to tell you 'I love you' for so long," she replied tearfully.
"I want you to give me a hard time when we're 80 years old," Swiderski joked before popping the question with a Neil Lane engagement ring. Her response? "Absolutely!"

But before the joy, there was plenty of heartbreak as Harris rejected two other men.
When California business developer Kiptyn Locke, 31, told her "I love you," Harris admitted she fell in love with someone else.

Reid Rosenthal, a 30-year-old realtor from Philadelphia, whom Harris had rejected on a previous episode, returned to the show to plead his case – unsuccessfully.
"This is insane, but I had to come back," he confessed, and asked for her hand in marriage on bended knee.
Swiderski's own road to the finale was a rocky one. He left the show to tend to his job on episode five, but later returned saying he made a "huge mistake."
And during the July 14 episode, he had performance problems with Harris on their date in the fantasy suite.
