Jeff Gordon and Wife Welcome Baby Girl

 © Jason Merritt / FilmMagic Jeff Gordon's wife Ingrid Vandebosch gave birth to the couple's first child today, daughter Ella Sofia Gordon. In an announcement released on his website, Gordon, 35, said, "It's been an absolutely incredible experience. Ingrid came through amazingly and we're both really happy and overjoyed. We can't wait to get home and start our lives together as a family." Gordon and Vandebosch, 37, have been married since November 2006. The four-time NASCAR Cup Series champ won't have much time to adjust to fatherhood, as he resumes his racing commitments this weekend at the Nextel Cup Series race in Northern California. congratulations! i'm so happy for you both... i got the copy of the USWEEKLY mag that showed the pictures of the couple and their lovely daughter. >>for the magazine writer/editor: you have a typo: the flemish word for grandmother is OMA, NOT ONA. i happen to know because my boyfriend is from Belgium (flemish speaking part) and his sister now lives in the same town where Ingrid was born and raised.<< Anyhow, enjoy your baby! I wish you more little Ingrids and little Jeffs in the future!

as a HUGE jeff gordon fan i want to congradulate jeff and ingrid on the birth of their first daughter!! i'm really happy little ella came into the world on wednesday cause now jeff doesnt have to skip a race!!! which makes me very happy!!! jeff is having the best season of his career (so far) and little ella is only gonna make him more determined to win more races and the championship this year!! i am soooo proud and honored to be one of jeff's fans!!
