For the last time before I go to class...there are many types of socialism. Ok, Hillary has a perverted sense of guild socialism, more like national socialism. And Barack Obabma is not exactly the same. For years she has wanted the government to have more control over "our" lives, that's why she wants to be president. Also I'm not in fashion, that's terribly funny. Thanks for the laugh. I have a Bachelors, majoring in Economics from Bates College in Maine (look it up) and doing my grad work at Northeastern. Socialists endeavor to create a system in which the proleteriat control the means of production. Once achieved, socialism is, in theory, supposed to lead to a proleterian revolution that in turn leads to a communist system. What exactly are you taking classes in? Fashion design?

10:15 - There are many varieties of socialism. Hillary is Pro Big-government and control (among other things). I've been "following" Hillary's career for more than 15 years and have read some of her earlier writings. It's a "know your enemy" thing. I don't hate Hillary. I don't like her for a candidate, mainly due to the fact that everytime she opens her mouth its not about her or the things she's done. It's constant "Bill did this and Bill did that..." Or "Bush did this and Bush did that..." I'm sorry but I'm not a fan of Bush either, nor am I a fan of Bill. But come on. I agree with Nat and I also think they should throw Condoleeza Rice into the mix just to really spice things up! Now that would be an interesting presidential race =p Another strong female with the experience to go along with it! It seems like the only thing we are getting past, any time in the near future, is breaking the tradition of having a 'white' (but yet still male /sigh) president. Baby steps I suppose...

I suppose Margaret Thatcher was so emotional that she ruled Great Britain for 11 whole years & very well too. I don't know why Americans think they are great while countries like Pakistan, Liberia, India, the Philippines and even Argentina have had & some still do have female presidents & prime ministers. I guess it will take another 250 years before that happens.
