She is a slob and a nightmare who is anti american and horrifying!! it is sickening that a network would offer that class less individual her own show-of course no conservatives would get a spot-just someone who hates the president and God. Grrrr

Weight gain on any medication is kind of random. Some will gain, some not. I've seen two people have opposite reactions in regards to weight in the same medication- both gaining and losing. Bring it up as a concern with the doctor though. But you also have to think about what is more important, your mental health or weight. Just keep in mind that even if you do gain some weight, odds are you're going to have more energy once the medication helps with the depression, so that could help with losing any down the road.

I could give you my personal experiences with the medications that I've seen, the reactions I've seen in people, but I'd be afraid to turn anyone off a medication. Just don't be afraid to be a pain in the butt in regards to calling your doctor. If you have a side effect that bothers you, call. If it doesn't seem to be helping, call. Sometimes people have to try a few, or a combination to work the best. Just remember that through it all, you will get better. I have seen people who cannot get up and function, who are suicidal and in the hospital once a month, be able to get back to enjoying things like they could before they were depressed.

Remember that medication and counseling together is what is going to give the best results. Good luck. :)
