Jackass star Steve-O appears under the influence in a new YouTube video posted days after he was hospitalized in a psych ward and charged with cocaine possession.
"You'd think all the time in prison would've taught me something," he tells the camera before erupting into a hysterical laughter. "I'm dead sober, you see!"
He then starts to juggle fruit for the camera before going off on the war in the Middle East. "Everybody's thinking about themselves!" he says.
Later, he cryptically asks, "Who cares when you die?"
The video prompted blogger Perez Hilton to write: "Notice the mysterious white powder in his nose. It's honestly INSANE."
News broke yesterday that Steve-O, 33 — who once dated Nicole Richie — has been charged with felony possession of cocaine.
The charge stems from a March 3 arrest for investigation of vandalism and possession of a controlled substance at his Hollywood home.
TMZ.com also reported that Steve-O was hospitalized at a mental health unit of L.A.'s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center last Sunday.
A rep for Steve-O had no comment yesterday when contacted by Usmagazine.com.

Being an addict is not easy and I can't even imagine how much harder it would be to have to deal with the media and public. I pray the Steve-O can overcome this. Who would put such a horrible video on You-Tube? No wonder the world is so f'd up.

Please don't knock US or any other mags for getting out what these so called stars put out there. In the Hollywood world it's fair game, really. i feel sorry for Steve-O. My teenagers and their friends love Jackazz. I like him myself. Well hope he can get some help and get out of there and do what he does best, making people and himself laugh. Keep your head up Stevie and if you need a true friend, let me know. I worked Mental Health for 10 yrs but besides that your fame can sometimes limits you to who will be there for you and who will use you. Be there done that. Take care and hope you get well soon.

Wild. It reminds me of watching videos in college of people that were suffering from extreme psychological disturbances. The rambling seems very random. He uses a lot of strange analogies and metaphors.
It amazes me that someone who is so successful can be so miserable.
I've always felt that this is where the interest in these gossip magazines and web sites lie. I think people have a desire to look down upon famous celebrities and say, "gee, I'm glad I'm not like them." It's a strange sort of ambivalence that we have for our idols and our idolatry.

This is really creepy. It gives me a bad feeling in my stomach watching this trainwreck. He is going to OD if he doesn't stop. And I did notice the white in his nostril but he is definitly on more than just coke. He looks like he is tripping acid too or something the way he keeps waving his hands around like he's techno dancing, looking at "tracers". He needs an intervention, then again...how do you reason with someone as crazy as Steve O (especially if he's on drugs). He's not going to listen to anyone.
