Robert Pattinson Defends Heath Ledger

According to a witness at the No on H8 show at The Improv in Hollywood on Dec. 16, Twilight star Robert Pattinson, 22, booed a comic who said, "Here's my impression of Heath Ledger," then collapsed and began faking convulsions. (Ledger died of an accidental prescription drug overdose in January.) See stars who have gone too soon. "Robert and his friend went nuts yelling at him," the source tells Us Weekly. "[Pattinson screamed] f--k you! You suck!" But the actor -- who recently cut his famous hair -- went unrecognized by the performing comic. That is so disturbing!! It ticks me off when others try to make humor out of other peoples losses (no matter who they are). Heath has a daughter and ex who deeply loved him. I'm glad Robert spoke out against this loser.urgh. I know I would of freaked out if I were there. Heath was an awesome actor!!

I echo the sentiments towards whoever this ungratful, mindless, impish comic was: "YOU SUCK!" Apparently, this comic dweeb has never lost anyone dear to them and has no concept of morality. How utterly insensitive and blatantly absurd! Death is never a laughing matter! Never, you hear me! Never! Life is precious and a death of someone is sacred and should never be mocked! *Comic scum, how DARE you! Robert Pattinson was more kind to you than I would have been. I echo his words: 'Fawk you! You suck!' Might I also remind you: what goes around comes around!* If I would have been there in that audience, I would have lost it. Two years ago, I tragically lost my cousin; and, only two short month's later, his mom and dad were killed. This all happened during a time when my mom's mother was in a hospitatl in Jacksonville, Fl, fighting for her life on life-support after aortic valve transplant surgery. (I am in tears streaming down my face imagining this comis acting that way when I've actually stood by and seen someone have that happen to them...I am in utter shocked that someone could stoop so low. What a worthless thing to do!) Trust me, no one ever wants to experience this kind of gutt-wrenching grief and it is neither funny or something that should be mocked. It is a sarcred thing. How dare this comic do that to the memory of Heath Ledger who was a wonderful man and such a talented individual. His life was precious! Shame on you comic person! Shame, shame! That was tasteless and imaginable what you did! Robert Pattinson should have jumped the stage and commensed to flogging your worthless arse! *Robert Pattinson, thank you. You are a real man. Robert, I just wanted to say that I enjoyed Twilight with my daughter and have since read all of the books. Stephanie Meyers is an amazing writer. I loved you as Edward, I don't think anyone else could have done a better job. I look forward to the next movie New Moon. A new Fan!

yeah, jokes is something you're going to have to get used to when being in the public eye, but not after death. it's one thing to get up and make fun of something he did during his life but to get on the floor and fake convulsions is just sick. no ones memory deserves to be disrespected that way.

I cannot believe Comic...you're sick...if you think making fun of a person who passed away is funny is because you never learn what respect means and that's why the world sticks for people like you. If you also think raping a baby is funny you are more than sick...Heath Ledger was a great actor and just because he chose that for a career you should have respect for his memory no matter what.

If you're not gonna have a sense of humor about absolutely everything don't come to a comedy club.. And if you object to a joke, just walk out, don't do the childish heckling bit. If someone makes a joke about raping a baby, and you're one of the few people who don't find that hilarious. Just leave. Or shut up until the next joke. Heath Ledger was a great actor, and I'm sure a great man. But never he's a guy that chose to be in the public eye, so jokes will be made. None of you knew the guy personally so don't jump on this comic about it. And I doubt this Pattinson dude knew him either. So just shut up and let it go

Actually, I don't blame Rob or his friends. I still think Heath Ledger was one great creator(actor). I'm sort of upset now at that comedian, what he did was uncalled for....that would be like me making fun of the comedian if he dropped dead on stage and me going up immediately and making fun of the way he fell... I'm glad someone stood up for Heath...well done young Mr. Patterson and I don't believe you used any foul language either....

4:12 Jamie, I am so creeped out that this only seems to matter because it's Heath Ledger. I remember when South Park did an episode featuring Patsy Ramsey.. I don't know if you remember her because she's not a famous actor.. but her daughter was murdered. Nobody seemed to care about that. Some people called it a brilliant bit even. In fact, nobody really cares about this type of thing. But Heath Ledger.. oh my god.. he's just so important to defend right? Whatever. Youre entiteld to your thoughts but your thoughts are misguided. I hope you excercise that passion for people in your actual life. The hypocrisy is the most annoying thing. The overexposure of this young guy's life is insane. This crap only makes it worse.
