Alyson Hannigan Is Pregnant!

 Frederick M. Brown/Getty Images How I Met Your Mother star Alyson Hannigan is pregnant, her rep confirmed to Usmagazine.com on Wednesday. Hannigan, 34, and her husband, actor Alexis Denisof, 42, will welcome their first child this spring. The couple met on the set of Buffy the Vampire Slayer during the 1999-2000 season and wed on October 11, 2003. "Married life is the way to go," the American Pie star told Teen Television. "I look back to when I was single and what was I thinking? I was so stupid with the guys that I dated. It’s just ridiculous. Obviously, I’ve matured and I’m a lot older and wiser but I should have just never dated anybody until I met Alexis. It’s just wonderful. It’s fantastic and I love it. It really fits me." Never regret dating or being with other people before marrying your current spouse! Being with those people only makes you appreciate what you have with your spouse even more! Yes I regret marrying my 2nd husband at times but if I had not then I wouldn't have my 3 precious kids & my marriage to my current husband wouldn't be as strong as it is today after 8 years. Nobody ever finds their soulmate/true love right away. Remember, Thomas Edison went through many failed attempts at making the incandescent light bulb before he finally got it right. It's the same principle with relationships. I am happy for Alyson & it is so refreshing to see any Hollywood marriage last longer than 2 years in this day and age!

Good for them :). It may not be common to enjoy your spouse these days, but I do, and it's even less common to see it in Hollywood! My husband and I regret wasting time with the people we were with first, so I understand what she's saying! Plus, come on, Alexis seems like the sweetest guy ever. The type of guy you COULDN'T fight with. I bet their kid is going to be adorable.

Wow! It's so nice to see someone in Hollywood wait until they're actually MARRIED to have a baby! This is the kind of example we should be setting instead of these celebrities (trash) popping out illegitimate kids left and right and acting like it's glamorous.
