"Eww, that's nasty!" she said via telephone from Beijing on 93.7 KRQ Tucson's Johnjay and Rich in the Morning. "Come on, I have really good taste," she added. "He's not really my type." Michael Phelps is not attractive, but holy sh-t, she looks like a hooker. She's not a perfect 10 herself. She's maybe more like a 6. She looks like a tranny. Please tell me that she became a model because someone had a vision problem, because she's certainly not anything to talk with her man-looking face. I'm guessing, since everyone in this country thinks Michael Phelps is the only swimmer, or even Olympian, who mattered at this year's games. Yeah, Amanda Beard didn't swim so well at this Olympics, but you know what? Michael Phelps didn't get any medals in Sydney (what? he EXISTED before 2004 Athens games?? NO WAY!!). Amanda won 2 gold medals and a silver as a 14-year-old at the 1996 Atlanta Games, and has held a number of world records. She is an inspiration and a prodigy in her own right. Furthermore, if Michael Phelps wasn't a star swimmer, none of you would want to date him. He might have a good body, but so do other swimmers, and they have good-looking faces to match. And those of you going on and on about how wonderful he is and how he's your personal savior, etc? How many of you remembered who he was for four years from Athens to Beijing? I'll say probably a pretty small percentage, because he didn't win the much-hyped 8 golds in Athens. And now you're willing to trash anyone who says something true about your precious Michael Phelps? That's bullsh*t.

Amanda Beard is average looking at best. Great body with the face of a 45 year old woman. Rotten tired looking skin and big bags under her eyes that you can still see through make-up. She has odd looking teeth and a un-attractive nose. Its the god's honest truth and has nothing do with her trashing Michael Phelps.

To everyone who thinks people are being to hard on this girl that is to bad. She is a public figure who used bad judgment in responding to rumors about her and a well liked public figure so the not so nice public opinion that follows comes with the territory. I also wonder why she was of intrest in the first place if I was listing to her being interviewed it would be like who cares what has she done to peak my intrest. After her comments about dating Michael I became very aware of who she was as stories about her were everywhere. Not that you can believe everything you read but in one story in particular I believe it was her coach was saying what a hard journey it was for her to get to these olympics I read on thinking mabey she overcame some huge obstical in order to compete and thats why she was of intrest. The artical went on to say she was out of shape and had to train really hard and she also had to really think because in competing she would have to put off a planned road trip with her boyfriend and her dogs. WTF even her coach made her sound shallow. It is only my opinion but I think olympians should long for the chance to compete not be so whatever about it. Michael obviously longed for it, worked for it, and acheived his goals. To true OLYMPIC SPIRT congrats Michael!
