American Idol Gina Glocksen to Wed on New Year's Eve

American Idol Season 6 finalist Gina Glocksen is wedding her high school science teacher beau on New Year's Eve, the New York Post reports.

Glocksen is marrying Joe Ruzicka, a high school science teacher from her Chicago hometown. The pair were introduced when she tried out to be the leader singer in his band three years ago.

Jordin Sparks and finalist Haley Scarnato are expected to sing at the nuptials. Ruzicka's band, Then Again, will also perform for the 300 guests.

"At the tour [American Idols Live! 2007]. I asked all the girls [to be bridesmaids]," Glocksen told a reporter, according to the Post. "Jordin and Haley carried through with it, the others took gigs. New Year's Eve is one day you can't ask a performer to take off."

Ruzicka proposed in 2007 at the American Idols Live! tour.
