WTF? im going to miss Amy with all my heart. but she's off to bigger and better things, u know who should leave snl? that Darrel Hammond guy, hes been on there for ages. people said Rachel Dratch was too old for SNL but isnt that guy older? and no one's giving him sh!t for it, right?

I am sad to hear Amy is leaving SNLafter she has her maternity leave. I loved the skits she was in, how about Appalachin ER or the Dakota Fanning Show, or when she played the little hyper girl, Katlyn. She could go from playing a child believably to an elderly woman. She is a true comedic talent and I am not sure what that show is going to do without her. There is not really any consistently good female cast members left. I miss Maya Rudolph too. That show needs to get some talented females on it again. And start picking some decent hosts and musical acts as well.

Tina Fey laughs waaaay too long at her "political satire" which basically and lacking originality, amounts to calling bush a monkey repeatedly.

Poehler is due for a new life, good luck.

Fey needs more intelligent humor to whack the republicans. She has a nice booty but that is about it.............

Amy was hilarious, i'll remember there were so many funny SNL cast members like Tina, Rachel, Maya, Ana, Sherri, Molly. those were good times.

I have loved SNL for a very long time. I have loved every character on the show. Amy is one of my favorites. She will be missed by all.
Would be nice if she saw this and answered some of these messages.

Her personal life isn't really relevant to the story (Mrs. Chocolate), but I am so glad she's leaving SNL.

That show has had a dry run with talent lately (think: Mojave), and she's a big part of the problem.

The woman just isn't funny. She has a really forced delivery, she uses her material until its staler than a crouton, and her style is trashy and unoriginal.

Mrs. Chocolate has something up her bum. She is always writing nasty things on these articles!

I am sad Amy is leaving. Her and Tina were the funniest women on SNL. Good luck to her on her new show and movies! I hope the women are successful, like the SNL men have been.

Amy Poehler was terrific on "Saturday Night Live", and I thought she & Tina Fey had terrific chemistry. It wasn't just Tina spoofing John McCain's running mate Alaska Governor Sarah Palin & Amy spoofing New York's own Senator Hillary Clinton. They had terrific chemistry when they were cast members on "SNL", and were really good together working the news desk on "Weekend Update". She'll be a tough act to follow.
