Amy Poehler Says Farewell to SNL

 Andrew H. Walker/Getty Images It's no joke: Amy Poehler officially left Saturday Night Live over the weekend. "This is my last show," Poehler announced from her "Weekend Update" anchor desk. "Being able to do over 140 shows with my friends and my family has been a dream come true. "I love you," she told the audience, "and I will miss all of you very much." The star -- who welcomed son Archie with husband Will Arnett in October -- has signed on for an NBC show from The Office's executive producer, set to air next year. See who had the biggest baby bumps of the year! In September, Poehler -- who scored laughs as Hillary Clinton and Katie Couric on SNL this season -- first announced plans to leave SNL. "It's gonna be really hard — Boyz II Men hard — to say goodbye to yesterday," she said at the time. "SNL was dangerous, late-night, last-minute and star-studded, but like any good drug, you need to know when to put it down." I am a huge fan of Amy Poehler and Tina Fey. I understand they have to move onto other things, but I hope they still drop by SNL here and there, if they get the chance, because they are two of the funniest women in the USA, and I would even say the two funniest people on SNL, because they have taste and are classic people. I hope that they make more movies together, too, cause' Mean Girls and Baby Mama were both really funny- well, maybe a lil less drama, but really funny. They can do whatever they want, but we will always remember them for their SNL skits, because at a time when the tensions were running high here, they got us to laugh, which makes any situation easier. Thanks, Amy Poehler and Tiny Fey!
