EXCLUSIVE: Andre Leon Talley: Jennifer Hudson Is "Doing Very, Very Well"

She's very strong," he told Usmagazine.com Friday at Bette Midler's New York Restoration Project's annual Hulaween gala in NYC. Look back at touching photos of Jennifer Hudson and her family. "I think that she has such strength," said Talley, who has been e-mailing the Dreamgirls star, whom he dressed for the 2007 Oscars. "There's so much strength within her that she's going to be OK. The message that she sent to me is that she appreciates all the messages of love that come from all the fans." On Sunday night, friends and family paid their respects to Hudson's slain mother, Darnell Donerson, brother Jason and nephew Julian, who were murdered, at a public memorial at the Pleasant Gift Missionary Baptist Church near the family's Chicago home. Along with her sister Julia, Jennifer has also established the Hudson King Foundation for Families of Slain Victims in honor of their loved ones. When we are weak the Lord gives us Strength. Jennifer Hudson and her family will be Fine...based on their faith. Knowing and beliving that God is Good. Our Father, in Heaven said in his word that he will never foresake us and he hasn't. I always liked her on AI and I voted for her over and over again. I was very disappointed when she was voted out. She really is a powerful talented singer. Only advice I'd give her is: DON'T GET MARRIED, YOU ARE YOUNG, TALENTED AND ON THE WAY TO BEING RICH AND FAMOUS. WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO RUIN YOUR LIFE WITH DEAD WEIGHT. I am so so sorry to hear such a news I just love and adore Jennifer from the first time I saw her on the American Idol. My prayers are with you and your family may God bless and keep you all.
