Anne Hathaway: I Want a "Law Abiding Boyfriend"

 Jeffrey Mayer/WireImage.com Ellen DeGeneres wants to find a date for newly single Anne Hathaway! "I'm really good at setting people up," DeGeneres tells the Bride Wars star in an episode of her talk show that airs Thursday. "If you need some one, I will find you a boyfriend." Hathaway isn't picky. "At this point I would just like him to be law abiding," she jokes. Her last beau, Raffaello Folliero -- whom she split from in June -- is currently serving four years in prison for conspiracy, wire fraud and money laundering. See the biggest splits of 2008. "Dating [means] leaving yourself exposed," adds Hathaway. "You don't even have to date, you can go straight to commitment," offers DeGeneres, to which Hathaway replies: "Oh, OK perfect." Hathaway says her breakup taught her "to have a sense of humor about everything. "I'm sobbing, and I look up and I start laughing and said, 'This is going to make a great opening monologue on SNL.' So then, two weeks later I got the call that I was going to be on the show. I was like, 'You know what, I'm going to get through it. I'm going to laugh first and nobody is going to be able to laugh at me, and eventually it will just be something that happened to me' and now it is. I'm so thrilled." Do these stars look better after the breakup? She also calls 2008 a "really transformative experience in a lot of good ways." Says DeGeneres: "That’s what you should get from any experience -- something you learn from it, grow and appreciate it and never regret it." "And, never do it again!" adds Hathaway. I absolutely love Anne Hathaway.. . .but I hate what that jerk did to her. She was such a beautiful girl and then he screwed her over and the pain of betrayal and the depression is showing in the way of HUGE weight-loss. She looked gorgeous before, she didn't need to lose ANY weight. I hate Hollywood for glorifying stick figures. I'm not fat, but I'm no stick! Curves all the way baby! Haven't they learned anything since Jessica Rabbit? Men love curvy women! ;-D

No, she is a beautiful woman. But I do agree this picture does her no justice. I am suprised at the grace she used to handle the sitiuation she was thrown into. She's gonna do great and is already moving on. In times like that all you can do is live and learn. Good job Anne

There would be no reason for anyone to laugh at her, or pity her for that matter. She did not break the law! She is a beautiful, successful and smart young woman who got involved with a loser who needed to commit fraud to keep up with her financially to feel like a man. Not her fault! This girl can get any guy she wants!

This girl has it all- beauty, poise, & a blooming career so my best advice is to get the hell away from all the Hollywood people & Hollywood altogether. Buy yourself a small lovely home on the outskirts of Maine and fly into Hollywood or wherever else your job takes for work~~ BUT come home to a sane place to live your "real" life and thus meet your soul mate... Hollywood and most of the people connected to it are all tinsel & fake!!! So learn from your past mistake and get busy toward your "real" life.
