There's people that will surface not matter what y some will sink NOT MATTER WHAT. I think this supposed brother is one that doesn't need or want any help and he lives in his world, with his needs and not yours, with whatever makes sense in his life covered. It shouldn't be someone else's duty to give him what we don't even know he wants.

I hope for this country he doesn't become our keeper. I sure don't want to live in a hut.

We don't know all the facts. Quite frankly, his family business as long as it is not illegal is none of anyone's business. But, did anyone stop to think that maybe George didn't want anything for Obama. Just because you might would not like to live in a hut, doesn't necessary mean that everyone that lives in a hut is trying to find their closest rich relative to "bail" them out. When I moved into S.f., I sold my car and just mainly walk or take public transportation. I thought I would really miss having a car. But, I actually find it quite freeing not having to deal with it. So, maybe that is how George feels. He's surviving and that's okay with him. I think America is too materialistic. Just because someone doesn't have what we equate to being happy or successful doesn't mean the way someone else chooses to live is wrong. Some people are too proud to take help. On a different level, it's just like a person who is addicted to drugs and a family member tries to help them and that person refuses. Would you blame that person? For God's sake, I hope one wouldn't. At the end of the day, you can't force help on someone. Each person needs their own way. Even people with the same bloodline might wish to live very different lifestyles and be content. And, like many have said, I wonder if the people here that are criticizing Obama have made the same conclusion about Mrs. McCain. At least, Obama has acknowledge his half-brother. Cindy said she was an only child. (Not that she felt like an only child, she said it as a statement of fact.) I don't believe any of this is anyone's business either, but we need perspective.

The article states clearly George is ashamed of his living conditions, etc. And, as soon as his address is obtained and a charity is setup I will contribute as will other Republicans. Stop The Obamanation.

what about all of the adopted children or the children born by sperm donors should they look up all of their half siblings to see if they need help if so aren't all of their adoptive parents hurtig them by not seeing that they stay in touch with these strangers even those from another country

In Obama's first book Dreams from my Father, he talks about his half-siblings and how he tried to help those who needed help when he visited Kenya. Obama has his own family to take care of and if someone in his family won't help themselves what can he do? Adults have to be responsible for themselves. I'm sure he'll try to reach out to this individual if in fact he's Obama's brother.

Now Cindy McCain, she's one for the books. Going around lying that she was an only child. She inherited all those millions from her father and won't share the money with her poor sister. Now who wants that as a first lady?

Proves what a loser Obama is. Here's a man living in a hut in Kenya and he would rather live the way he does than to take anything from a walking talking liar. i don't know about obama, why he doesn't help his brother even in a little way, but we, filipinos, can't stand it if one of our family members is in need. if we can't help financially, we can just give them food or something. we have very strong family ties. it doesn't matter if he's my step/half bro/ sis. what's important is, we're family and we help each other.
