Barenaked Ladies Singer Survives Plane Crash

![]() David Livingston/Getty Images Barenaked Ladies frontman Ed Robertson survived a plane crash in southeastern Ontario on Sunday. OPP Sgt. Bruce Quigg confirmed to the Canadian Press that Robertson's private plane lost speed as it was trying to take off from the lake and went into the trees. A Robertson pal — who did not want to be named — said after the plane stalled, the pilot managed to set it straight down into the trees with its nose resting on the ground. The pal added that Robertson and his three passengers — who had to get out through the windows — were shaken, but not injured. It has not been confirmed that Robertson — who received his pilot's license in 2005 — was the pilot. See what your favorite 90s stars have been up to. It is the latest headline for the popular 90s band. On July 11, singer Steven Page was arrested in upstate New York and charged with possession of a controlled substance, cocaine.
