Howard Stern’s Wife Rescues Drowning Dog

Just call her Super Stern!

Beth Ostrosky - who became Mrs. Howard Stern Oct. 3 - proved that nothing comes between pets and their owners when she jumped into a swimming pool to save her and Stern's English bulldog, Bianca, from drowning.

"I had a luncheon to go to and was decked out - I had my Manolos on, a cute hat, and a little sundress," Ostrosky recounted in an appearance on The Rachael Ray Show Thursday. "Howard's outside with the dog and the dog flips backward into the deep-end of the pool and goes straight down like a piece of lawn furniture."

Ostrosky's animal instinct? Jump in and save her beloved pooch!

"I looked at Howard - he was all sweaty - and he leaned over to untie his sneaker [instead of] jumping in the pool. So who jumped in in her Manolos and saved the dog?" she says. "It was like a Superman moment!"

That's sweet. It's funny he was thinking about taking off his sneakers (which probably cost less than Manolos) and she just went for it. I'm sure he would have, but it definitely shows character that she wasn't more concerned about her designer clothes than she was concerned about her dog. I'm a Beth Ostrosky fan now. Lol.
