They are BOTH to blame. 1. He should NOT be doing drugs. Wasn't he taught about drugs? Obviously not. 2. She chose to do the drugs too. She had a choice and chose the evil of the 2 choices. Obviously she wasn't taught either.

I know many that have addictions or have had addictions ranging from alcohol to drugs, and the most painful of drugs like c0ke and meth. It is sad to see an individual be sucked into a terrible world, but when someone shakes the sh*t out of you and tells you that you need help maybe they should, and while they're at it take a good look in the mirror and see what it's doing to them. Amy is a sick person that needs a swift kick in the a** to get the help that she needs and if she can't see that, well, unfortunately you must let the drugs kill, because that's what will happen anyways. I know it's not easy, and I've helped many get clean off of drugs and alcohol, and where I put a lot of effort into helping another person they'll go back to their old ways, that's because they're weak individuals who do not have the stamina. Unfortunately there is so much you can do for a person and just hope for the best in the end. If Blake feels it's best to leave Amy because he'd feel he'd enable her, then so be it. Maybe she'll wake the f*ck up and realize how much she's ruining her life and get off the sh*t, because the drugs will destroy her. He's not running away from anything, he's just being realistic, and I don't blame him. He failed a drug test himself, so he's NOT 100% in good condition either. When you put two people of this nature together they're only enabling one another, not really helping the situation. What a disgusting pig anyways to even introduce a weak minded person hard drugs when he had to have known what it could possibly do to Amy anyways!

This whole situation is very sad. I'm pulling for Amy; hoping that she will come to realize that only she can get clean and sober. She has to want to do this for herself. Too bad husband is a cop out. I do not believe he has her best interests at heart. I will pray we will not be reading of a sad story about Amy, like my heart-throb Elvis. Not the doctors, not the Col. Parker, not even his dear girlfriends - Linda, and even his own dad...and whole entourage couldn't save him. No disrespect...but we all know the tragedy. Wake up Amy. I'll pray you make it.

I commend the person who wrote about his personal experience in dealing with a friend who was addicted to heroin because of the girlfriend. You are a true friend to take him in at 3:00am and help him get sober. Because of you he survived and came face to face with that demon. You need to pat yourself on the back because you helped your friend survive. You were brave to stay next to him eventhough the events you witnessed were freighting. The world needs more friends like you!

Thank you, I really feel that he is the brave one. He was smart enough to know that it would not get better without going through HELL first, and I mean HELL.

I hope Amy gets help and wakes up to how dangerous her situation is.

She has had so many health scares, I hope she doesn't die from the disease of addiction.

This may hurt her initially, what Blake is doing, but honestly...she is better off without him. They are both addicts, not in recovery, and they will just fuel each other's addictions.

Blake is kicking Amy while she's down. I have an illness, Multiple Sclerosis, and my boyfriend dumped me because he could not deal with my disease. Thanks to his rejection, I have been drinking more than I should. When will these guys stop bailing out? They seem to disappear just when their girlfriends need support.

Blake, it is NOT your fault that Amy is an addict! It IS your fault that YOU are an addict! Addicts only have themselves to blame for their actions. The only way someone is to blame is when they are jabbing the needle in your arm for you or sticking coke up your nose for you or pouring the booze down your throat for you. anyway..to me it sounds like blake is just looking for some attention and a way to get out of the relationship.

My, my, my....I guess I would do not feel threatened since I am have MBA in being a toolbag and a license to drive the lawnmower I work on daily. I am 30 years old, short and obese and yes I am a very ugly and hairy West Indian woman. I guess I have no jealousies toward other lanscaping crews who are successful and talented. It is not my fault that my lawnmower of 5 years left his old landscaping crew and chased me around eventually cutting my leg.
I like to read the trash people write and get a good laugh because I too am a big giant loser. I do have a nanny for my two year old son but she beats him; therefore, I do not really have to worry about the mundane stuff, I can afford to do this to my crappy kid!!

Sorry that your lawnmower cheated on you and left you for someone obivioulsy older and fatter, as a awnmower technician and a general moron I don't have that problem, just goes to show that you haven't made your lawnmower happy!!!
My mower left his first landscaping crew for me and he could not be happier :)
